Bails have come off - have Pakistan forfeited? seems a bit silly to plunge the game into controversy, Pakistan were doing so well. Only 5 runs penalty, too.

Looks like it. This isn't about winning or losing and the result of the game couldn't matter less at this point.
The only question is whether the umpires can provide conclusive evidence that Pakistan tampered with the ball. Whatever the answer to that question is it has now cast a huge shadow over the series and either Hair and Doctrove or the Pakistan team need to be severely punished.

I know it sounds shallow, but if the game is forfeited then England win 3-0! I'm happy with that!

I'd rather watch us battle it out though.

Surely they should wait till the end of the day to make any protest etc..

after all they lost 5 runs..and everyone in the ground has paid good money to see cricket.

Spectators should be re-compensed out of the Pakistan players match fees

Well, its a bit of a shame that a good series has to finish like this. Would be a good victory for Pakistan (and incredible one for England if they made it).
Of course, it would be good for England to finish 3-0, but not in this manner.

umpires went out..waited 2 minutes, timed out the Pakistan side..removed the bails, up-rooted the stumps..

Theres not much the umpires can do in relation to the rules if Pakistan stay in the dressing room. Its a good cause, but they're only going to forfeit the game. I'm just glad this happened in the 3rd Test, a pretty much dead game, than the 2nd, which England won fairly and properly. This one Pakistan should have won fairly and properly.
Can't think of anyone to blame, of course we don't know if anyone even touched the ball, and if so who.

the stumps were not up rooted only the bails came off!
