I think if there is no conclusive evidence against Pakistan, they are well within their right to stay inside. You can't just make a serious allegation like this and seriously alter the course of the match. Of course, no one here knows if the umpires had any evidence (and they very may well). There are obviously other factors involved, such as the spectators and such, but how can you simply accept the fact that you have been accused of cheating and go on as if nothing has happened?

Daryll Hair is now saying that he won't take the field if Pakistan do. This is a priceless moment in cricket.
 
Looks like the game is over.

Need to have some transparency. I think Nasser Hussain is making the most sensible comment in his life right now.
 
This is definitely a huge black mark on the face of cricket. I would like to know what prompted the umpires to impose the penalty, although I am pretty sure that all of it will be buried in tight-lipped bureaucracy.
