Though this was 3 yrs ago at the Oval..Tresco not in best of form atm

That's true, but Strauss is bang in form.

Well, My Team for the 20/Twenty:

Imran Farhat
Shahid Afridi
Shoaib Malik
Younis Khan
Mohammed Yousuf
Mohammad Hafeez
Abdul Razzaq
Kamran Akmal
Rana Naved-ul-Hasan
Shoaib Akthar
Mohammed Asif

Looks to be a good 20/20 side that. A number of bowlers and all rounders to bowl the overs. Afridi opening will be mouthwatering.

i would still have inzi in there instead of hafeez...and dont say that u took him out because he cant field well...because then u need to take akmal out as well as he drops tons of catches.

england wont have no bowlers who can stem the runs,
gough would have been played but he has a swollen leg so he wont play,
i would have this team

farhat
afridi
razzaq
malik
hafeez
yousof
akmal
younis
asif
shoaib
rana

unstoppable team and you cant have razzaq lower order in 20/20 match

are you crazy?
having razzaq and akmal in lower order?
people would have razzaq open with afridi

on paper all teams are great..

And I wouldn't count on Razzaq and Afridi whacking the new ball around, white ball swings a lot more..

You are probly better off with them at 3,4 or 5.

Farhat and Akmal are probly the best bet for opening

That said, it all depends what English bowlers are selected.

I'd open with Razzaq and Farhat because they aren't as important in T20 as Afridi who could come in at first or second drop.

EDIT: Although Afridi could be lethal with the fielding restrictions...

but honestly though i see pakistan winning the 20/20 if it goes ahead,
they have too much firepower in limited overs games atm and could thrash any team if up for it,
they ran aus close in vb series all tourny and would have won if they had asif and shoaib then

the recent 10 over match between pak vs world side said it all,

he whacked his 1st 22 runs off 4 balls and eventually made 44 off 10 balls if i recall correctly

Pretty? Thats awesome man, SR of over 300, similar to his 37 ball century.

what bowlers do english fans want in the odi's ?

ive heard Gough might come back..then u have Harmison, Monty, Mahmood..?

Monty wont be in the One Day side as Fletcher wants him to concentrate on Test Matches.

There are two people who i would like to see in there, these are Gough and Stuart Broad, with the latter probably being able to learn a lot from just being selected to work alongside Gough and Harmison.

I'd like to see Broad and Tremlett with the new ball in the One Dayers. They can both keep it tight and take wickets, which is crucial within the first 10 overs.
