I think the closeness of the match was more down to england slef distructing, mnore than good bowling..

Sajid Mahmood is a strange cricketer; He becomes public enemy number 1 on Friday because of his awful bowling, but now he his the man who all the English want to buy a pint for with this good all-round performance. I still don't think he's international standard, but he performed well today; He gets my vote for MOM.

A nice victory for England, although 2-2 flatters them. Still, it's the result that counts, not the manner in which it was achieved.

Well we got there thanks to Mahmood and Yardy. Stupid middle order batting though.

Well done to England's Bowlers and for England themselves for never giving up - batsmen like Strauss and Pietersen have also put in some half-decent performances today but my man of the series is Ian Bell for some fantastic centuries in the Test Series and some brilliant innings in the one-dayers.

Pakistan lost because their batsmen were incompotent against us today. Pakistan only had a sniff of hope due to some rash shots by the likes of Read and Pietersen.
