Oh, and evertonfan, please put some thought into your posts. I stated you should get over Afridi's antics because it happened months ago. You expect me to get over Pietersen (see, I've used his real name) in one day? Brilliant! :clap

You accusing me of senseless posts, now that is something.:rolleyes: KP didn't cheat; It isn't his fault he wasn't given out, just get over it please.

But we do have evidence. Standing your ground is well within the rules of the game. Scuffing a pitch isn't. Let me put it in language I hope you understand...

Afridi = Cheat
Pieterson = Not cheat

There you go. The evidence. Darryl has been unfair against Pakistan before. And if you read between the lines, you can see that the author is really laying into Darryl!

Wow. Do you really need it pointed out. Very well.

1. Even before the day began, Darrell Hair was unlikely to be found on any Pakistan player's Eid card lists. His performances during Pakistan's winter series at home against England enraged Pakistani players and officials alike, many of whom privately expressed serious concern over his attitude and performances. After today's show, forget Eid bans; Hair will be lucky to escape calls for a fatwa, were fatwas still a fashionable thing in Pakistan.

2. For cataloguing purposes, he turned down an outside edge, then a clear inside edge and then a leg-before appeal whose only fault might have been that it was hitting middle. And that it was delivered by Danish Kaneria, who extracts as much out of Hair as he does out of Old Trafford. If it is just incompetence, then it sure as hell has a funny way of regularly seeking out and screwing Pakistan.

3. For balance, Billy Doctrove at the other end also missed an inside edge that many in his native Caribbean probably heard.
Blimey what concrete evidence you have.

You never cease to amaze me. Constantly you go back to Afridi. Look back over all my posts...Have I once stated that Afridi was *not* a cheat?

So he's been incompetent in Pakistan's matches before. Doesn't make him a racist, he's been incompetent in matches in which Pakistan haven't played. Pakistan have also benefitted from his incompetance.

Venkat was incompetent in several England matches, no one has ever accused him of being racist, just incompetent.

Oh, and by the way, I have stated before...I am not calling Pietersen a cheat in the sense that he broke the laws of the game. I am calling him a cheat for his poor sportsmanship and for having the nerve to point a finger at Afridi whilst he himself may not have cheated but done something more disgraceful. Afridi admitted that what he did was wrong and he apologised. I don't think we'll be getting an aplogy from Big Kev.

In case you didn't watch the match today, Rameez Raja stated that "Darryl Hair had been living in England for a number of years now". Don't you think that further adds to the suggestion that he is biased?

I don't think that point even deserves an answer.

BTW, real substance in your post, evertonfan. It wasn't his fault he wasn't given out...five times?! And then he had the nerve to jump and down upon reaching his 100? A dedicated Pakistani fan cannot get over that easily. Maybe you've failed to notice, but the umpiring decisions today may have lost the match for us, and thus the series.

Can this be closed. It is really starting to bug me.

Umpires are not biased. Hair is just deaf and blind.

Just been looking over the posts made in this thread tonight; funny how all the Mods ganged up on me and decided to protect England? Protect England by all means, but please post an intelligent discussion, rather than refusing to believe my posts and calling me immature. And who was it that bought Afridi into this? Let's make something clear, if someone starts knocking on a beloved Pakistani player, I will stand against it.

As for Pietersen, what an *English* hero he is...So what if ONE Pakistani player in the past was not of Pak origin? We didn't worship him like some people worship Pietersen.

I am biggest Pakistani Cricket fan, but (as JJ3 said) our players are ones who are play crap, and we should not call Darryl Hair 'racist'. OK we all make mistakes, even NASA do, it's a game get on with it, if you wanna blame, blame the Pakistani management for such a sh!t lineup.

Just hoping Inzi will draw this :rolleyes: never mind wining.

EDIT: Even tho I thought Gull played well.

Ok. I'm unofficially closing the thread for the time being. Any post about Pietersen, Hair, Afridi or the actions of other members in this thread will just be deleted.
