And Evo, JD looks good, but im sticking with Ian Blackwell as my man who i would put into the squad. I Like JD but i like IB more.

You shouldn't put your heart before your head. You may like Blackwell better but JD is the better option. I like Geraint Jones more than Read and Prior, but I still want Read or Prior in the side rather than Jones.

Nah Fletch would go with JD, Fletcher doesn't like players who are lazy/poor in the field. JD offers something in every aspect. I'd play JD over Blackwell.

Blackwell has never been given a position by England, it's always changing.

Those stats clearly show he is better than Giles, he has underperformed for us, but he is a better batsman.

Fair enough, I won't argue with stats. JD is the best option anyway.

Im going :( your calling my Blackwell, ahh well i like the guy. I think JD is a good player but if i was Fletch id play Blackwell.

Giles shouldnt even call himself an International cricketer any more as after his op, we have found King Monty, and we really should keep with him as he has taken more in this time than Giles would have. Giles cant turn a ball for toffee.

Unbelievable, Mahmood has a wicket. Akmal gives a thick edge to the ever reliable Trescothick at slip. Wrap up this tail England; Any lead will be nice here.

Monty has one problem, Fletch doesn't like specialist players and he has fielded well in this match imo, and I think most on here will agree with me.

Fletch I think will go back to Giles as soon as he is fit, so even if we play with 5 bowlers in the Ashes (If Fred is back) we have a weak bowling attack.

Monty has gotten a few to spin sharpish this match.

Akmal gone, Mahmood gets one caught by Tres, he deserves that wicket, he's bowled well I think if a little short, much better bowler now than his first apps.

Evertonfan, I agree with you JD is our best option as our ODI spinner, should be good to see how he goes vs Pakistan.

Not sure how easy it'll be to wrap up the tail as the ball still isn't doing much. Look at how Harmison and Mahmood batted.

:D i always said the Lancashire lads would be the start of Englands rein as the best cricket team :p, we have to win the WC and then win alot of Tests and win at least 1 ODI and maybe we could topple Australia :p am i taking it a tad too far?

Yeh but Gul and Kaneria are a way off of Harmy and Saj.

We're bowling better than they did I feel.

Dear me your right! If Harmy can get runs anyone can. Even if we lead by just 1 i'll be happy, Come on England!

Does Sajid Play for Lancashire? I though he played for Yorkshire.

Fletcher is an idiot, how the hell can he even consider bringing back Giles instead of Monty? And Atherton, Hussain, Botham and Bumble say that Monty is a better batsman than he is given credit for, so i'll agree with them.

I doubt we will get a lead, but then again, i doubt Pakistan will get a big one, i reckon they will fall for around 510-520!

Yeah Mahmood plays for Lancashire :D

No, he's Lancashire through and through pal. Well, apart from his Pakistan origins.

Monty just gets better and better, looks like Pakistan are getting a slight bit impatiant.

He won't be able to show what he can do with the bat at No. 11.

Harmison isn't that bad with the bat Evertonfan.

What's your real name?

Or where you called Everton fan?

Yes I was christened as Mr.Everton Fan.:p My real name is Matt Roberts.

Harmison isn't that bad with the bat I agree, but he just doesn't look like a batsman. Which is understandable really.

Hoggard should be our number 11 too; I agree with what SKY said yesterday about that issue.
