I think its a draw. I dont see Pakistan really going after 327 runs in a day. They may decide to play "normally" till tea and then look at the run rate and wickets and decide if they want to go for it. But at least one thing is for sure. The idea being tossed around at the start that India will waltz away with the series is making a lot of people eat their words. Pakistan is showing wonderful appetite for a brawl. I hope they dont bring Shoaib back and spoil everything. Its been SUCH a good series without him.

Yes...please bring Shoaib back! He will destroy the complete concept of team unity and giving your all for the team. :)

ur optimism is laudable shahid but frankly i think by tea time tomorrow pakistani batsmen won't have a lot to decide upon...their only worry would be to save any wickets that may have been left to fall and i don't think there will be too many of them...if afridi was in then it could have been different but not now...

btw, i agree...this pakistani team has shown a lot of guts and deserves all the praise...and of course we don't want to make the show shobby...do we? but still to expect them to withstand Kumble and Bhajji on the last day at Eden is a bit too much...

a lot of this optimism comes from the fact that i have bet a huge no. of points on india's victory... :)

Shoaib is now declared UNfit for the rest of the India Tour(even ODI's)
Shabbir Ahmed is Fit for the ODI's. (Thats good news becaus the Gentle Giant is back):)

I suggest you wait one more day ;)

Yesterday many here critisized Bucknor for tendulkar's dismissal, i would like to here their comments on Rahul's leg before decision on the bowling of Khalil which was Actually out but it went in the favour of indians by the same Bucknor..

Shahid afridi 59(59) balls look at for him india,er,The irony, where are the pakistanis to go againts the umpiring of bucknor,I dont see any of them calling bucknor a bad umpire, once again The pakistanis has proven the upper hand showing respect to the umpires,

anyways,This match is going to be a cracker.younis khan,142 in the in the second day of the test match.look out for him india, inzy hungry for some runs look out for him india, pakistan will blast and will blast constantly, pakistan zindabad.

I did not say Shailesh that India will lose or Pakistan will lose.... all I said was that Pakistan has not rolled over and fallen as was expected. India might still win 2-0 but you have to admit so far Pakistan has made India fight for it.

Except for two days, they havent really fought well. Day 5 of the first test and Day 2 of the second test. India have dominated for the other 7 days of the series!! It might have been even closer had they dominated two more days..

do u think pakistan would go for a win? i have a gut feeling they mite not! If Afridi was not out, they mite have. But now, it looks bleak. Anyways, I think India now hold the trump card. They will go all out for a win!!! Pakistan should be more careful!!

if Pakistan pull it off, which is very unlikely, it'll be one of great achievements of all time. If India win, which they should going favorites in home series, it will be a well earned victory. Either way I hope we will see some clasic test match battle. If it's a draw, Pakistan will feel much better than India and prove lot of people wrong.

Thats the point isnt it? Pakistan was NOT expected to fight even that much. Now you might say that this was only because India was too weak to finish them off, but the bottom line is, its still a 0-0 series so far going into the fifth day.

Pakistan pulling of a victory today seems unlikely. However, yesterday 350+ runs were scored. And 93 of them were scored by D. Karthik. I am not judging Karthik here but if he can score 93 on fourth day then Inzi, Youhana and Younis khan along with Kamal, Umar, Razzaq should be able to save the test match. Also you never know if Inzi decides to go berserk the target can start looking smaller than it would be. I think the wicket is still good for batting and India will have to really bowl their hearts and brains out to bowl Pakistan out tomorrow. May be Bucknor can help India for a change :) (just joking)

I never thought Pakistan was weak team. The fact that they were played down was because they had a horrible tour down under combined with questions over team unity and Inzi's captaincy. However, Pakistan has always been good in sub-continent. A team which has Inzi, Youhana, Younis Khan, Razzaq, Afridi will never be weak. Yes, Pakistan's bowling has been weak and thats probably one of reasons why Indian batting has clicked until now in this tour.

as I write this, Indians are celebrating the fall of the first innings centurion for Pakistan...good keepin by Karthik...its time Patel started concentrating on Board exams :p ....
