Pakistan in Sri Lanka - Jul-Aug 2009

They probably play head/tails before coming to ground.

While Pakistan have played well, we must also take into account the fact that pitch has eased out considerably. kulasekra's 125 KPH deliveries are anything but threatening on this seemingly docile pitch. What Sri Lanka needs is a bowler who can reverse the ball. Thusara has got an action that is suitable to reverse swing alongwith a extra yard of pace. But I don't think he understands this art ATM. Pak should look to build a lead of over 250 to give their bowlers a chance of leveling the series.

Fawad Alam's doing very nicely here...I think you're a bit off zMario, Younus fell at 285/2 :P Sinclair has the highest score on debut, right? Could Alam break it?

Muhammad Yousaf again goes for a poor score right when the team needed. Another lazy forward prod second ball after lunch and he goes out lbw by herath. Can Yousaf get more pathetic. Please spare us the agony of watching him get out again and again when team needs him. We do not need Muhammad Yousaf.

^yes any day. Younus has played much better under pressure through out his career. He may not have the talent of Yousuf but he has got gift of temperament and ability to play under pressure.

I think he will make a fine captain for Pakistan. He seems very confident and composed but at the same time modest and reserved. A refreshing change from Shoaib Malik.

Well this is a collapse worthy of an England or New Zealand team.

what a collapse... I wouldn't put it past SL to do the same.. hold on to your seats... who says TEST cricket is dead..
