2nd ODI - Pakistan V New Zealand

IMRAN KHAN: Hello and welcome to the 2nd one-day international of five between Pakistan and New Zealand. Today, we are in the magnificent Gadafi stadium in Lahore. I am fully expecting Pakistan to bounce back after that defeat in Rawalpindi yesterday - however, with no break in between these matches, New Zealand have the upper hand of confidence. Once again they have won the toss, and once again, chosen to bat - this makes them favourites. Let's take a look at the match details.

IMRAN KHAN: Pakistan name an unchanged team and will be looking for a better all-round performance from team talisman - Shahid Afridi. However, the rest of the middle-order will be expected to score aswell. M Saeed will be looking for his first decent runs wearing a Pakistan shirt, and Younis Khan will be looking to make a captain's innings, otherwise, he could soon lose that title. Now over to your commentary team for today, who are Michael Slater and Saqlain Mushtaq.

SAQLAIN: Hello all, the players are walking out onto the field amidst some brilliant display by a short man in the crowd over there. Very good. Me and Slats will bring you highlights in ten overs time. See you then.

Why would you play a bowler ahead of a keeper?

Anyways good luck :)

may be Akmal is a back up in lower order and hence preserved ;)

Also Mcmillan shd be low down the order as Fleming is better openr than Craig! Also Craig is very handy in case of emergencies in the middle than at the top!

Good Luck for both the teams! Com'on Kiwis! ( Lot of NZ matches goin on at the moment as i am saying " com'on Kiwis " in many threads :D )

NZ 10th Over Update

SAQ: Hello guys and welcome to the 10th over of the New Zealand innings in this second one day international. The match is currently evenly poised, although you could say Pakistan are in control with 3 wickets on the board. However, 80 runs piled on by the New Zealand batsmen has put a little pressure onto Pakistan at points. Let's go over to Slats for the 10 over highlights package.

SLATS: Welcome guys, Glenn is away today because he has gone to look after his daughter. Well, it has been a jam-packed ten overs, and the last over, in particular, is one that I shall never forget.

SLATS: New Zealand started off on the back foot when Nathan Astle was out for a blob. However, some spirited batting from McMillan and Marshall took them past the 50 mark, and a 50 partnership. The final word of the session, however, went to Sami, who got them both out in the final over before this package. Here are the details:

SLATS: Right then, a good ten overs it has been - let's hope for a good ten overs to come from both teams.

SAQLAIN: Yes indeed Slats. Let's take a look at some of the graphs and scorecards from these first ten overs. We will see you again in the 20th over - taraa!

Run rate is great but 3 wickets is bat.. that too Astle got duck :( Now these two shd luk for only singles for twenty more overs and then can start firing! But big partnership is needed!

Excellent presentation mate.. Like the details like Graphs, u put in! :clap

Mixed start here by the Kiwis. Good run rate but losing 3 wickets in the first 10 overs is not a good sign. Pakistan need to restrict the Kiwis scoring here.
