Pakistan Tour of England and Ireland - July/September 2016

Yes, Pakistan have been a lot better than India on their previous two tours here but Pakistan are a much better team than India.

It is Sri Lanka (2006 and 2014) who have given England the most problems out of the Asian teams.

England lost the series to India in 2007 as well along with a 1-1 draw against India in 2002. India`s only total debacle was the 2011 tour to England. The 2014 tour was very similar to the current Eng v Pak series. India dominated the first two tests and and were in it in the third test before losing steam. If you actually watched that series, you would remember England being 250-odd behind with 1 wicket in hand at Nottingham before Jimmy and Root managed to salvage a draw. We did win at Lords quite emphatically as well.

In a nutshell, Asian sides have`nt been horrendous in England.

Wow, Non-subcontinent players get away with that but when Asian teams do that, they get 50% of their match fee taken. It's same for the illegal bowling actions where mainly West Indian and subcontinent players are banned while Aus, Eng and NZ get away. ICC does ban some players out of those, but they are only part- timers *Sigh*

The 2014 tour was not that similar to this current series, as the manner of defeat has been quite different. Yes, both India and Pak won at Lord's but India lost all their games after that. India lost by an innings twice, while Pakistan imploded after being in a winning position. Now people say that Pak is better than India, but that can't really be true, since Dhoni was captain, and the team started doing better when Kohli took over and all was good. I believe that draw was a result because the pitch was dead.

Is that really tampering? I don't think so. The umpires surely had a look at the ball after every wicket.

This really didn't look like he was tampering, maybe he got a fingernail or something, but the Anderson one looked like he was clearly scratching ball. This looked like he was just spinning the ball. Well, I'm not really sure.

Is there anyone you think actually has a highly suspect action from Aus, Eng or NZ? It could perhaps be that these nations weed out the issues at lower levels rather than let them get through to international cricket.

Nailed it. People from Pakistan/ Sri Lanka /Bangladesh need to give it a rest with these conspiracy theories.

Azhar needs to open in the next match and Rizwan should play instead of Hafeez.
Imran should come in for Rahat.
I'm hoping against hope that Imad Wasim gets called up.

Kane Williamson is one such who was banned then cleared, though you are right.
