Sharjeel doesn't seem good enough for Test cricket. His technique towards the moving ball is not good. His style is more suited to T20 cricket and really, it would be like trying to bring Umar Akmal in the Test team.

I guess as Misbah out due to the demise of his father in law. Team has no choice to induct Sharjeel. I think Pakistan should play a gamble. The team needs some confidence and early on runs and Sharjeel can make it happen. Again would say its a gamble. Also I wonder why Imran Khan is not there on such seaming tracks.

Pakistan's loose to this match was not a surprize due to the wicket too much supporting for seam bowlers. Though Pakistan's bowler lacked direction. Captaincy tests in such tough situations. My 11 would be:

Probably you are right and understanding the Pakistan's management mentality. I see it differently, Imran even deserved selection in the first test as pitch was suiting him. Strangely Imran not looking in Management plans in a silly and stupid way
