Pakistan tour of West Indies - July 2013

I like your team Sulaiman, but 2 concerns:

1. Kamran Akmal would have to be Keeper, and his keeping form is a worry
2. We are not blossoming any new crickets for the future in your line-up, Misbah is 38, Ajmal 35 both will retire in about 2 years and Pakistan should have found a great replacement by then.

Absolutely despicable comment. To condemn someone to hell because he is out of form whilst playing a SPORT! You sir need to take a long look at yourself.

Well i don't watch Pakistan Cricket Match so often.I only watch Pakistan matches when they face my favorite team Australia but other than that i think this is the only 3rd or 4th time i am following the whole series even though they are not facing Australia and after seeing Hafeez batting in the first 2 matches i think he should go to hell because he have talent but he don't want to use it :thumbs

I am sure he wants to use it, he isn't able to use it because he is out of form.

There are replacements for them , Raza Hasan is one great young talent and you mentioned Haris Sohail there as he's the best replacement for Misbah ul Haq or maybe Babar Azam could fit in more .

He;s not out-of-form in batting I'd say but he's out-of-form in bowling . He's trained and coached for a defensive style which is the opposite to his natural playing style so it results in inconvince to Hafeez and thus he gets out early . :facepalm

Raza Hasan is a T20 bowler, he is not that good at ODI, from what I have heard

In fairness to him, he has been playing cricket no stop this year, with no breaks. He needs a month off cricket, just to get his rest.

Well , his bowling average in list A career is just perfect i.e 23.87 , we haven't tried him in ODIs yet but who knows maybe he's the next #1 bowler ? We have to give the you lads some chances , chances to prove themselves and we should give some rest to old talents .

I'll surely have to agree with that .

Sehwag might be hit and miss in ODIs but he averages 50 over 100 test matches! He has been around well before T20 cricket shot to prominence.

Sehwag's average has dropped below 50 in tests due to poor performance. But neverthless 2 300s and some fantastic match winning knocks, his quickfire half century in Madras against England etc etc..so Sehwag wont come in this list.Sehwag is an elite class member.Forever Viru :thumbs

Well done by West Indies to come back after that loss to Shahid Afridi the first game!!

Cricket's two very talented but very inconsistent teams playing here. Anything can happen in this series practically.

I still believe Afridi is being forced to play to low down the order, atleast move him up a position or two, otherwise he only gets to face 30 odd balls in a game.

I'll Suggest This Line up:

1-Ahmed Shehzad (play aggressive ground strokes)
2-Nasir Jamshed ( Try to Play a Moderate Innings not much aggressive)
3-Umar Amin/Haris Sohail ( Any of these 2 , Best position for one of these to play)
4-Misbah-ul-Haq
5-Umar Akmal (wk)
6-Mohammad Hafeez/Shahid Afridi (Depends upon the situation either Hafeez or afridi)
7-Shahid Afridi/Mohammad Hafeez( Same)
8-Abdur Rehman (Ajmal has been out of form Since a long time, plus he can bat aswell)
9-Wahab Riaz
10-Junaid Khan
11-Mohammad Irfan

Not too much badly wrong with the Pakistan team.

Raza Hasan bowled well in the T20 in Sri Lanka, and I liked his bowling, but he didn't turn the ball much, and nowhere near as much as Abdur Rehman does.

A young left handed batsman or two in the middle order might be useful, and none of the others have cemented their spots, not even Misbah.
Misbah scores too slow, I was a fan for a while, but now he does nothing, just gets slow not outs, or bats too slowly to save them anyway if there is a collapse.

I thought Fawad Alam played well on the tour of Aus and his test debut, but a few people seemed annoyed by him and have probably seen him play a lot more than me.
He does have a crazy style at times, but has the ability to play a lot of half improvised shots that others don't, which is a sign of talent, as is the amount of runs he scores.
Good fielder too.

Misbah and Hafeez are settled at the crease , they should continue playing like this , they're taking responsibility now and that's a good sign . :thumbs
