Pakistan v Australia in England, June-July 2010

Afridi is already a leggie.... and DK is not a wicket taking bowler... he usually return figures of 2/100 or 5/300.... whats the use of taking 5 wickets if 300 runs are scored against you.... I would rather have an inform Ajmal any day.....

and do you know why that many runs are scored against him? it's because we have the most incompetent wicketkeeper who has dropped so many catches off Kaneria's bowling.

I was surprised that Pakistan won again, although I followed the match. They may have won the T20I's, but I don't think they will any ODI's or Test matches against Australia.

The funny thing about Akhtar: I just said he was going to be out when he was on strike. And it indeed happened. He made a move to hit the hit the ball and he went out. But with the ball he was bowling pretty fast. Even faster then Tait.

O'Keefe is having a good season, played well for NSW then Aus A and now on debut. Bowling is lacking that consistency, Tait was brilliant the previous match but couldn't back it up. Batting middle order is still fragile.

Ha didn't even realise the second game was on today only just heard the score. :laugh

How did O'Keefe look?

Plus is Watto injured?. Worryingly he hasn't been bowling in a while.

Shane Watson and Steven Smith were rested.

I see the next match will be a Test match between Pakistan and Australia on 13 July 2010. Most likely Australia will win both Test matches.

I don't think these T20s will have any bearing on the upcoming test series. Australia are a far superior Test unit and are probably going to dominate in both matches. Well done for Pakistan for beating Aussie after that shambles of a tour they had.

We are capable of beating them in ODI's, but no chance whatsoever in Test matches.

Well done Pak. 20 20 is really open, any team can have a bad 2 or 3 overs and the match is gone. You really cant bet on who will win ANY 20 20 match these days, which is good, one team is unlikely to dominate for too long.

Clarke should just bat with the same intent no matter where he is batting, its that simple. Still, watching him bat that way it was never going to last that long, it wasnt entirely convincing. Like he was trying so hard to be something he isnt, some of the shots were glorious to watch though, if he can get his game together he could be good, at the moment he either stays for 15 balls and scores either 5 or 30.

I think it had a lot to do with the fact that he was opening. Facing faster bowlers all he had to do was time the ball and it raced away through the gaps.

And if you notice, the mindset was not any different, he was still the same Clarke, just now with a much higher SR.

Damn, what's wrong White! Hopefully he can bounce back with some county cricket.
