Pakistan vs England Jul-Aug-Sep 2010

That delivery was good but should not have dismissed a settled batsman. It swung very late towards off and defeated Yousuf's defensive prod. I remember Anderson dismissing yousaf with same delivery that swung a lot more in 2003 WC match.

I remember that ball. That one would've gotten most international batsmen out!

Lots of rain about, unusually we're getting an easterly breeze too. Though Lord's drainage is brilliant, we could see some delays/time lost.

^More misery for batsmen then :noway. Lets just hope Test match is decided and is not totally washed out.

this series has yet to use a fifth day so it should be ok, though lords is the place you'd think they might both be able to last more than 4 sessions.

It's the best drainage in the world, so it really shouldn't be an issue. The ball will move at Lord's in overcast conditions though, and both these sides will be able to utilise it. It could be another low scoring match, something which has been common place in domestic cricket too.

Asif could be the key on lords. I think the slope will help his inswing a lot here. He already bowls a fabulous inswinger. It might just turn out to be a good match for Muhammad Asif. Salman Butt has to give him the right end though.

Asif will tear up at Lords if the ball is moving. Did you ever see Glenn McGrath do badly at Lords?

I'd of thought we'd be on by 12:15 to be honest. Lords is incredibly quick drying so as long as it stays dry we'll be on quickly.

Trouble is at Lords everything is so unbelievably slow. Just heard the umpires say that once they have decided the time of the toss it will take another forty minutes to get things sorted! What the heck....get it sorted now while you are waiting!!

Satelite is looking like an overcast but rain free afternoon, rain tonight and tomorrow morning. The forecast really isn't that good. It's been a shoddy summer, a few weeks of sun, but August has been damp.
