To draw this from 2-0 would be awful, I'd settle for a dose of rain if only to make a draw possible. I suppose we were put in, but three batsmen in a row out inside three balls (each). If Trott can hang around and battle it out, why can't our middle order?!? At least Prior is making a fist of it, England will need 180+ surely. Why when we had long spells of good weather do England insist on buggering about with long breaks and playing ODIs in the better weather?
Had to laugh this morning, Cook scored a hundred last Test and now Strauss is out of form! I mean is this the imagination of the media, their only way of reporting on England is to talk of "poor form" ? I see Cook made less runs than Strauss so back to 'form' - or lack of.
And I reckon the umpires are on "pay as you play" and by that I mean bonuses for getting past zero overs and 25 overs..........................
