The England squad should be announced within some minutes from now.

Twenty20 Squad: Paul Collingwood (capt), James Anderson,Ravi Bopara, Tim Bresnan, Stuart Broad, Steven Davies, Caig Kieswetter, Eoin Morgan, Ryan Sidebottom, Graeme Swann, Luke Wright, Michael Yardy.

One-day Squad: Andrew Strauss (capt), James Anderson, Ravi Bopara, Tim Bresnan, Stuart Broad, Paul Collingwood, Steven Davies, Eoin Morgan, Ajmal Shahzad, Ryan Sidebottom, Graeme Swann, Jonathan Trott, Luke Wright, Michael Yardy.

England squads announce for the ODI's, no Pietersen and Davies comes in as the keeper for the ODI's.

Davies is back in for the OD and T20 matches, keeping in both with Kieswetter opening in T20s.

They made a valid point about Prior imo, he's in good form, particularly with the gloves. No real surprises in the OD squad.

Strauss
Anderson
Bopara
bresnan
Broad
Collingwood
Davies
Morgan
Shahzad
Sidebottom
Swann
Trott
Wright
Yardy

Pretty pleased about the squad although I would have liked to have seen a left field choice as a replacement to Pietersen.

Probably would have liked to have seen a youngster given the chance ahead of Sidebottom but he probably does deserve his place in limited overs cricket.

I'd have thought that Hildreth had done enough to warrant a selection, and he is definitely one for the future.

And why does Bresnan keep getting selected? He's shown he's nothing special and just an average county cricket bowler. I don't think he's good enough for international cricket. He has nothing special about him, nothing unique and doesn't excel in anything.

Does Prior not deserve the limited overs spot now that Kieswetter is dropped?

He's not really got that much of a record in the short stuff domestically or internationally. Although he has been a bit better this year.

And Davies is one of the top scorers this year, has been knocking for a long long time and is an opener. So overall its understandable albeit unlucky for Prior.

With Lumb out injured i would have liked to see Alex Hales called up to the T20 squad. Cant think of a better shotgun type opener in county cricket that looks capable of handling international bowling.

Plus with KP & Bell out. Shah should have definately been recalled to both the ODI & T20 squads. Batting line-up looks increasingly thin.

Dont really agree with Kieswetter being dropped from the ODI squad at all, although he had his issues vs the AUS in last ODI series. He is still the best option ENG have of taking advantage of the power-play overs. Davies although he deserves a chance, i dont think based on watching him bat he is totally capable of smoking an international attack in the power-play overs - like Kieswetter.

I would have given Kieswetter the first couple of games vs PAK & if he continued to struggled - then bring in Davies. But we shall see how Davies goes.

Do you people even use Twitter? The way to send private messages is completely different to normal tweeting. You can't mess-up unless you're a total donkey. Oh wait... :laugh

I fail to see the point of persisting with Kieswetter in this case. He's be horribly out of nick since the Twenty20 World Championship. In 12 innings he averages mid 20s while Davies' average is above 60 with a century.

And the whole Kieswetter is capable of taking apart international attacks doesn't wash with me, his strike rate is rather average.
