YouTube - World's Tallest Bowler Mohammad Irfan

Look when his team congratulate him, he's at least a head above everyone else.

Yes he is...

People say that he is a very good and consistent bowler in Domestic Cricket..

I wish he ate that bloody Akmal.

Same here..

Akmal is such a fixer.. he even droped a catch in the 1st T20.. I think Zulqarnain Haider should come back..

On cricinfo they are keep guessing his length. Can't they just send someone to the field and ask if they can measure him?

I am just reading that Mohammad Irfan signed with Kolkata Knight Riders for the upcoming IPL season.

So down to 41 overs having lost hour, hour and a half? If there's the prospect of more rain then shouldn't they chop a bit more than 14.4 overs per hour for the hour lost. Sure there is a little leeway, but there is nothing worse than one side batting say 41 overs and the other falling short of the 20 (?) overs required to make it a match. Surely you'd be better making sure both sides get 20 than trying to get as close to a full match as possible, but falling short?

Pakistan won the toss and will bowl first. So everybody can quickly get a chance how Mohammad Irfan will be bowled. Not sure if Afridi will let him bowl as first bowler. Maybe he will hold on and let us, and maybe the English batsmen, give an Eid surprise later on.

Might have to flick over to the Cricket to see how tall that guy is and how he bowls.

What, something better on?

Please not 20 overs..we've already had 2 of them.

What so next IPL will have Pakistani players in it?

I don't know how the English batsmen feel, but I wouldn't like to face a 7 feet guy, that is throwing balls from only about 20 meters from you. I don't know what his speed is or whether he will be succesful, but just the presence of such a tall guy is already enough.

What a coincidence. After mentioning that, this article appeared.

I didn't mean all the way down immediately, but I'd reduce the match by 10 overs per side per hour lost. I remember England playing in Scotland, got in the 41 overs for England I think it was and Scotland didn't bat enough for it to be a result.

No result is worse than 20 overs a side in my book, I just think they tend to be overambitious until it is too late to do anything about it ie when one side has batted 41 overs you can't give 5-6 of those to the opposition.

Do these people not have weather forecasts, as accurate as possible? I see they have gone for Sunday for the second ODI, but then why Friday and Monday the following week?!?! The ODI series lasts a couple of weeks yet only ONE match of the five is on a Saturday or Sunday :facepalm

Mohammad Irfan is going to bowl his first international ball.

And he is hit for runs straightaway. :laugh

Wright is a Wright off! :banana2

1-0 after 1.0 overs, should England declare? Someone somewhere probably has a few thou on England winning by one run
