nice touch put the two finishers inexplicably out in the middle overs (without bothering about the powerplay) so they could get out for ducks.

The problem has always been rotating the strike and Younis always plays like this, trying to start slowly and then fails when he finds some touch. Disappointed but credit needs to be given to McCullum for a great innings

Good feeling this morning for me.

I finally found out why they call Afridi "boom boom".
It's because when someone gets out, he comes out to bat and gets out straight away, hence a double strike, "boom boom".

I felt if McCullum failed this series at the top, they would move him back down the order.
But that great innings will secure his place at the top for another year or so.

I only saw the last 25 over's off the PAK innings, but I felt we fielded really well. Some of our bowling is still a work in progress which could be down to not having a coach.
We seemed to bowl way to much short stuff which allowed their tail (Razzak and co.) to get a few boundaries down the order.
I would of though full and straight with an occasional bouncer would be the way to go.

Broom just has to go... Another low score (a duck).
Taylor yet to score a run in this series is a real worry. He has to get a score next match.

Only change I would make is Franklin in for Broom. Maybe just maybe you might bring BJ Watling in for Redmond who didn't look to convincing in his 50, and didn't get going today.

Na, it's so much you, some of the other PAK fans have been talking PAK up saying they have the best pace and spin attack in the world.

It's just irritating as they clearly don't and don't realize that NZ has 3 of the top five bowlers int he world.

I don't have anything against him personally, just getting something back from the last match where they thought he has pretty much god after his man of the match performance.

Probably just to do with Bond being a senior player, so gets rights to the higher position.
TBH, Bond doesn't really seem to be the worst tail ender in the world. He has a FC hundred.

Nice hit back by the Kiwis, McCullum finally delivered as an opener but he still should drop down the order. Styris is proving useful and Oram also made some runs.

A very well deserve win by kiwis,love the way how Brendon played spin.
2nd wicket partnership set the tone for them and they should have to win from thier and they did.
Bad luck for Pakistan,poor drop of Umer Akmal and the batting problems are still in the side.
As such no big flaws in the bowling but I have to say that Brendon played so well that it looks that bowling was allround.
Hope so we have a thriller in the final.
