For me it will be Boom Boom Afridi

I feel Afridi and M Yousuf (because of his experience) & Yunis Khan will play a major role in last final decider, its difficult to beat Pak at UAE, its like they are playing at home..

As Howsie has been saying Broom would probably be better up the order but with the guys we have up the top already (Taylor, Guptill, Ryder etc) he won't get much of a go so hes going to have to learn how to finish off an innings or his international career will be a short one.

Franklin in for Broom is the one change I would make for the last game.

No doubt. I actually feel really sorry for Broom tbh, I just hope to god the selectors don't shut the door on him. He need's to go back and bat at three for Otago and score some big runs, if he does that he should be in line for the test team, which is easily the best form of the game for him.

He has the talent, and a very compact technique. Infact in last years emerging players tournament the AIS coach couldn't believe he hadn't played for New Zealand yet and rated him the best batsmen on that team (which included Ryder, Guptill and Watling).

And how about McCullum aye It was a pretty good knock tbh, I can't remember any chances. Guptill's was outstanding also, the way he played Afridi and Ajmal was very good to see, he was using his feet very well.

He just needs to go back to Otago though, and score some runs...

If we want to win the final match, I reckon Taylor or Styris have to score some runs.
I don't think McCullum will fire again, and their is just too much pressure on Guptill at such a young age with Ryder and Elliot out, to go with three of the most inconsistent batsmen in world cricket, McCullum, Taylor and Styris.

Taylor is pretty consistent these days, he's either scoring runs, or he's not. At the moment he's not.

Yeah only 1 40+ in his last 14 innings is a real worry...
Before that he had a run of 13 innings where he pasted 45 9 times.

With Taylor's form this is how his summer will play out.

Against Pakistan

* Plays Crap during the ODI's.
* Smacks a hundred or belts a few high scoring 50's in the T20's.
* Has an average Test series making only one real contribution.

Against Bangladesh

* Makes a decent score between 30-45 in the T20.
* Proceeds to smash a huge 100 in the ODI's.
* Gets out for a pair in the test match.

Against Australia

* Plays awfully in the T20's.
* Has an average ODI series, with only one real contribution.
* Hits a century or two in the test series and proceeds to do destroy the Australian bowling attack.

I think Pakistan were going very well till the 20th over of their innings but after that younis and butt did not played well.Younis wasted alot of balls and allowed Nzl bowlers to Dominate.Little bit of atacking batting could the match for pakistan.I hope they will not repeat their mistakes in the Last match

The problem with Latif and Butt opening is that they both are a little bit too orthodox, you need some madness early in the innings and no one is better than Boom Boom in providing that.

I think boom boom should be come later because you need some exciting players in the death overs to smack and if umar akmal opens then can be a good line up because he plays quite fast and furious
