Normally if you have two sticks of memory in you want them to be as similar as possible don't you? I don't think an extra 512mb would do much.

In the past I had dissimilar memory in my computer and it just worked.

Adding 512 MB to a 2 GB memory. You normally should have 25% more memory then.

I got 461.6. I'm due to upgrade my PC soon anyways. Been 5 years since I've upgraded the RAM and such.

I'm using the PC I built when I did my A+ course and it scored 1055.4. Better than my old hunk of junk.
