I would give best ODI bowler to Nathan Bracken.

I thought Lee looked more dangerous. Bracken never looks the sort to slice through lineups. Then again, you don't need to slice through lineups to be effective in ODIs...

Lee's ODI bowling has been a bit funny lately, like he's bowling too good to find the edge. I remember in India he kept finding air in the off stump channel and then Johnson would somehow make the batsman wildly fish. Although he's been as good as always, there have been some games where I think he was good enough to take a bag of wickets, but didn't. It's probably not been a great year for any one bowler, although totals in 2008 are surely down. By the end of the year, I'm sure players like Broad, Southee and Mendis will have made a name for themself outside their homelands.
