PC gaming market has AIDS, im glad they are avoiding it.

Don't be so harsh Marky, PC gaming just had Crabs ....... though certain pirates might have AIDS just like Jared.

Uhhh hell no. They priced AC09 at 500 rupees (10 dollars) if that is not low enough then nothing ever will be for that market.

Honestly 10 dollars (less then the cost of dinner) was a slap in the face for all the programmers and developers to begin with and even that did not sell.

Codies had sold the rights of selling the game to Milestone Interactive (just like Rockstar/EA/Valve/UbiSoft do) in India & Milestone more often than not settles for the pricing of Rs 500 per PC game. Though console games sold over here are sold at prices similar to what we may find anywhere else in the world .

IMO Codies might have got some sort of fixed compensation for selling the rights to the game in addition to royalties from the dismal sales but, Milestone just got nothing and a little jab in the groin (you know like from a midget cuz' he can only jab & not kick there)

Why is there not a government effort to stop piracy. If local shops are selling pirated games then the problem will never go away. I guarantee you if you tried to sell pirated media in public here the police would be on you in 1-2 days.

There is a government effort to stop piracy , but like all other things in India its a very slow process & from time and again the government decides to doze off.

But yeah, if a pirate is caught selling 'stuff' during a raid the police make it a point to not just only put him behind bars and to beat him black & blue but to also do certain ******** things to him that would severely dent his mental & digestive well being.

lol I miss Delhi so much. Gaming for me began in Paalika Bazaar, hell I even know guys personally there who a run a store :laugh

They are there to stop terrorist activities or such, as far as I'm aware, because blowing up a place like Palika Bazaar in mid day would cause a lot of damage to life and property, not to mention I think it shares walls with the Metro station.

Secondly, from some of my friends who go there regularly, I've been told that there are raids almost every alternate day, but the shopkeepers are one step ahead of the policemen in hiding stuff. (There's also the fact that many policemen are corrupt...)

Mark was right in telling you stick to English on an English speaking forum. It is actually against the rules to speak in foreign languages. How tough would you find it to comprehend things if me & Dutchad conversed in Danish or in Italian ???? Since all the members are from different nations and cultural backgrounds we must converse in English only .

Funnily enough, there is a company here called "Austar" - its a cable company. And it probably covered this very same snooker match/game/fixture/balldrop.
