Yup. It will be interesting to see which team is fortunate enough to pick the world's best quick bowler James Anderson and the world's best spinner Greame Swann.

PS: At this point of time :p

Quite surprised you would say that. Anderson will be a mere average bowler in T20 format.

Swann is class and can be used in all formats.

He has the class to dominate any format but he is not showing it in the shorter format, i hope he does. :thumbs

Yup nothing is finalised, but did any one watch promo of CLT20 where Harsha bogle quoted " If SRH is to retain 2 players the 1st 2 which comes to my mind is Shikar Dhwan and Amith Mishra " . So i guess it may be true since he has close relationshib with most of the franchises :thumbs

Looks like the same retention policy is going to be repeated.

Yup it says 4 tough its not finalised but gc is opting with 4 so lets wait for the final words. another good news is that uncapped and ranji players will be auctioned so good players like S.Jackson and V.Zole in Rcb will find a good team which gives them a chance to showcase their potential.

Yup that great news for both experienced and new domestic players in terms of both money and chance to play for a ipl team.

The retention policy is just early Septembering retarded. I only check the cricinfo scorecards, but I don't even know who's on which team anymore.
