How do I bowl on off side ?? No matter how ever my pitching timing happens , ball always goes on middle or leg side. Regardless of outswing, inswing whatever

The line of the ball is decided by the direction of the stick when you push it up.

It'll be to do with your second right analogue stick movement. If its straight or to the right slightly (for RH Batsmen), it will always pitch middle and leg.

Patch 3 FAQ:
It is coming.
There is no date as yet.
It will be free.
It will be before the next iteration of the game (IE DBC 16 or 17)
It will be on PC first, and then rolled out to consoles (IE: There will be patches 2.9, 2.91, 2.92 etc on PC and, when all is well, version 3.0 will come out for PC and consoles.

Thanks chief.

Turns out we have a great looking game with all the tools needed for a realistic cricket game, just hasn't quite been executed properly.

If there are guys or gals here wanting a more realistic game experience, check out Blockerdaves thread. A load of us have (or had in my case) been game testing various changes to stats and abilities and the more people we have testing out the theories the better. Especially for console users who won't have access to Mods.

I agree this is a far better Crcket game than anything on the market and that we need realistic game play and you can't really have it with out proper looking Cricket Grounds.

Take the two we already have in the UK sussex and Lanchashire, while the graphics are good I would have though that as they have permission for these grounds to be used they could have got them to look correct and use the correct ground names.

I am guessing the Lanchashire ground is ment to be Old Trafford and if so where is the big red commentary box that sits on the ground and also where are the background flats that are all around the Sussex ground.

Playing Ashes tour matches against The Australians at Sussex and not Lords or the Oval or Pro 40 finals in Australia it all wrong, if they could not have got the rights to use and design the ground as they currently are then I think it would have been better to have some message in the game informing us why and then designing and naming a few different grounds as made up names and designs.

Another thing I see the have called it the sussex ground "Sussex oval" and some times it shown as the is "the Sussex Probiz Ground" which I believe it has not been know as for some few seasons (it is named "The Brighton and Hove Jobs.com ground" after its sponsors).

Also any future update need to also look as the commentary on many times I have been playing four day games and it starts "Good Afternoon" or even "Good Evening" also I have scored run in the first innings of a game and the a duck in the second innings only to hear the commentary team say that I got a pair ( zero in both innings).

Other time I have heard them say that I made a good shot down the ground to get off the mark when in fact I have edged it to slip.

I now just play the game listening to music and don't bother with listening to the commentary as I find it too lame and boring.

Anyway apart from that I much prefer this game to any of the others out their and would recomed it to any sports games fan however let's all keep our fingers crossed that all these issues can be resolved in a future updates of the game and we get the correct games played at the correct looking grounds as I feel it will enhance the game much more.

They don't. All the stadiums apart from the SCG and Bradman Oval are generic and unlicensed.

Obviously they want to make their generic ones have a vague resemblance to the real world, but they can't make them too close, because they haven't got the rights to them. Ashes Cricket 2013 had the licenses for pretty much all the UK and Australian test grounds, which would have made getting the rights for Don Bradman Cricket very difficult.

Maybe next time around they'll have an easier job of it without a competitor game, but most cricket games have had very limited licensed stadiums, especially outside Australia and the UK.

This is a result of the things the game does to try and get around the lack of licenses. Instead of Big Ant setting all that stuff up, it is user generated and maintained. In the team editor you can change the name of the home grounds of each team to whatever you like, though it doesn't always show up.

The commentary is awful though.

It is quite a procedure. You need to download the Indian teams you require from the community and then replace the existing teams (English teams would be a suitable replacement) with your Indian teams inside the Career Team list menu.
That is all for the functionality.

If it interests you, download the Ranji logo pack done by MattW and follow the instructions.
Also note that you any changes done to any team outside the career mode will not affect the career mode teams. They are separately locked. And the batting position you choose at the beginning is the position you will always play in any team. So if you have any favourite player at that position for a team you would possibly play do replace with some other player before you start the career.

Thanks for the reply mate. I should have mentioned that I play on ps3. I think the ranji logo pack is for PC.

Hello

Another issue I have found with this game is that you can not change the batting order in career mode.

I am playing for Sussex and batting number 5 however if you look at their teams they show as have different lineups listed for their T20 and Pro 40 games to their County games however when playing in career mode for all games the County squad comes up every time.

Another issue I see is that when playing T20 and even some Pro 40 games the game is over before I get into bat and therefore I do not get a change to bat and have to end up with 0 XP points for these games.

What I would like is the ability to be able to move up the batting order in T20 games and Pro 40 games and stay at No. 5 in the County games.

With games being over before I get a change to bat it means I do not get to up my skills in these format of the games and also means I will not get picked or take longer to get picked for my national side in this format of the game.

This can be fixed, though requires a new career to be started after doing some editing.

All of this is cosmetic stuff, and 99% of the game is spent looking at the pitch/field and the ball, not the stadium!

No game has ever had good commentary, but if its the errors that are annoying you, just turn it off!

If they don't improve cosmetic stuff, but spend all that time improving gameplay so there are edges, less catches to mid on/off, improved AI etc. I'd be more than happy
