You'll won't see the same match twice in FIFA 08 or score the exact same goal (including the move leading up to it) many times if you don't use all assisted controls... I have had all sorts of matches.
The finishes when you score usually look similar a lot of the time, but that is only because of the shooting and the keepers, both are meant to be much improved in 09, so that should fix that. The build up play is the most realistic in any game though, and that is what football is about - not just running 60 yards and shooting.
Admittedly 08 doesn't have the amount of replay value of the previous PES games but to say it is not as good a footballing game as PES 08 is just silly.
As someone on Evo-Web said:
"Auto controls + Fast speed = PES mode
Manual controls + Slow/normal speed = Football mode"
Then there's the "replayability" factor in the games, which seems to be lacking in the new games. Perfect example being FIFA 08 - A game that seems fantastic, the best football simulation around, until you see that most of the goals are coming in the same way and that there are so many glitches to exploit. Even PES 08, something which is just a tweaked version of a game which I loved in PES5, has gone badly downhill and now is just a buggy mess of a game.
Simple, they could give us more leagues (made up, the modders can take care of that), or league slots so we can add our own leagues. Then let them be properly implemented into the career mode.
So, you don't think there's anything wrong with ML? Can you have a proper FA Cup? No. Can you have a proper League Cup? No. Can you have a proper CL? Again, no! Domestic Cups! Don't make me laugh, since when did you see a domestic cup that basically started at the last sixteen stage? Oh and I almost forgot: points instead of money for transfers! It makes it feel like a damn arcade game! As for tiered leagues, yes there are tiered leagues, as long as you're happy with your EPL being invaded by a load of no-marks from Greece or somewhere, because there is no bloody Championship! Let alone League One/Two!
I worded that other post incorrectly, I meant that the finishes look the same, but the way you have to create those chances is much better than in PES.
I mean in PES you can just pass diagonally up the pitch, or just pass to a winger and run the whole wing then cross and score, or just pass forwards from your centre back, to your midfielder, to your striker all the way in a straight line.
I've already explained why Konami cant do this. Liscences. EA own everything, they have to create these formats themselves, ensuring they dont go against the limits EA set.
Konami cant do a thing. You occuse them of being lazy, but what can they do when there main rival in the field has the liscence to practically the entire 'winning' format?

I dont care what anyone says, this looks great and PES looks back on form.
