For the record though, where does the name Pingusten actually stem from?

Haha, it was one of those random name things on the t'internet which gives you a wrestling name. I think it was when I was about 13 and they were pretty new, and when they put in my name this random Pingusten came out. Everyone else got names like Krazy Kurt and stuff, and I got this.

Just kind of stuck. I mean, you could call me Jim if you want, but I'll put up with Ping

Back to PES The goals have really dried up in my ML, i'm 6th after 4 league games, won my first Cup tie. But just can't seem to score in the league, doesn't help that Mikel got taken away by international duty and Pienaar picks up an injury as soon as he's touched. The Yak was in good form at the start as well.

I'm sorry, i've bought this game, and for all its flaws its bloody fun once you get the hang of the wooden players and the "we don't want to move anywhere," moments where players just stop dead.

Today, over an hour (only spare time i've had in the last 2 days) I took it to a mates at university, and we had an ol' razz on it.

Man, i've never stood, sat, screamed, punched and kicked at any game like those 4 or 5 in my life.

Whoever said "It takes 15-20 games to get into it," or something along those lines is a pure truth-ist. The "flow," is unique, it isn't as good as its FIFA counter-part in my books. But verses people, its bloody got the fun factor edge over FIFA for sure!

Its not, because it isn't "arcade," for proof of that take yourself to Brian Lara International Cricket 2007. Now thats pure hardcore arcade.

PES is just PES, its still got that infectious attraction.

Everything i've said previously I don't take back, what I do take back is not giving it a chance.
