Can patches be used with the PES5 demo?

I've been playing the PES5 demo. The defensive clearances look good, as do the goalkeepers diving on the ball when they take it off a striker's feet. It's a very hard game to get to grips with, but it's realism is clear. I might have a go with my controller later to see if I can do better with that.
