Pro Evolution Soccer 6

FIFA 07 1-0 Pro Evolution.

Okay then, gameplay scores a screaming 30-yard equaliser for PES and then realism puts in a cross for graphics to head home a last minute winner.

FIFA 07 1 - 2 PES. :)

Fifa goes up the other end and scores a tap in from a Trevor Brooking blunder in the commentary department

Fifa 07 2 - 2 PES

It's extra time, PES runs down the wing with authenticity, he crosses! It goes straight in from the cross! Authenticity wins it for PES!

Fifa 07 2 - 3 PES

P.S (PES' commentary is a whole lot better this year, not far behind Fifa's)

I was gutted to hear that Konami have basically done nowt to improve the online aspect this year. I think the only differences are that you can have 4v4, and it mentioned something about Ps2 v Pc users on the box. Still, all the things that drove me mad still seem to be in place. However the gameplay does seem top notch, so I'll just have to spend most of the time playing my mate here, instead of random cheats from round the world :p

Skateboarder, the Xbox 360 version is obviously better graphically, however it is also lacking in features, so to an extent the Ps2 and Pc ones are the definitive versions at the moment. And yes it is Pc-Dvd.

Im loving pro evo 6. Although not totally different from 5, its still a great game. Everything feels much smoother.

However the grahpics are just as bad, any idea why no anti aliasing, or anitstropic filtering works on it?

Probably because the Xbox 360 version is supposed to be the exclusive next gen version. So the Pc version and Ps2 ones are essentially the current/last gen versions. When the Ps3 is out, and Pro Evo 7 comes out, that will see a massive step up in graphics across the board, hopefully the extra power will see many of the minor gripes throughout the series removed, the netplay massively improved, and the commentary/crowds/etc all given nice overhauls.

360 will be better than the PS3 but anyway thats not the case puddle your right both footie games have left out GFX changes on current gen and PC and i must say the 360 version is amzing cant stop playing it!!!

In what way will the 360 be better than the Ps3 Punk? I'm pretty sure when Pro Evo 7 comes out the different between the Ps3, Xbox360, and Pc will be neglible. And what have I said that's not the case. I'm happy to back up anything I've said ;)

The simple fact that you can easily patch and play online with the PC versions makes it a simple decision for me. Plus I don't have an Xbox. :D

I'm downloading the Pro Evolution 5 demo right now. The current edition hasn't had one (something you don't seem too disappointed about) so I'm going back to this, which I think had Chelsea and Arsenal in.

Do you know better then me? I know where i am posting and where i am going to post, dont show me my direction!

I've got a much better idea Farrukh, just send me the money and save yourself the hassle :)

I've spent most of today playing an English league as Spurs, and am enjoying every minute of it, more and more by the minute. Berbatovs currently my leading scorer, and after salvaging a point at Old Trafford with a last minute equaliser I'm sitting in 2nd.

As with every Pro Evo it's hard to say what exactly is making me like it so much more than the last one, and far easier to find the odd gripe that I don't like, but overall the gripes are outweighed by the massive enjoyment I am getting.

To add to my few gripes so far I would say it's great that they have introduced one handed saves, although the keepers seem to make them when sometimes it's easier to go with two hands, and it can look a little weird. As well as that I was one of the few that really liked the move towards rigourous referees in the last Pro Evo, although I will happily admit they went a little too far. So that being the case I do think they let a little too much slide, but overall I also think the current system is closer to being spot on than the last game was.

Both very minor complaints, and in the grand scheme of things the game is quite simply awesome.

Looking foward to finishing this league season and then getting started on a master league, Castolo here I come :D Will probably start to get involved with the online aspect soon, although I am putting it off until my finishing and on the ball skills have gone up a notch.
