I think that it's pretty unlikely Punk. The Ps3 by all accounts will be the most powerful console on the market, and considering the Ps2 and Pro Evo have almost always gone hand in hand, If anything I would expect the ps3 version to end up being the benchmark. However since Microsoft wouldn't be too pleased with that, I think for Pro Evo 7 it is likely we will see a pretty similar product on both consoles and the Pc. At the moment the Ps2 has been holding Pro Evo back, when they finally move onto the Ps3 it will finally be able to go truely next gen (I hope).

A little update - I decided sod it, I'm going online. First off the game got stuck trying to log in and I had to reboot my Pc. Went and had a check of pesfan.com and saw that there are some early teething problems that Konami are working on, and when I tried again later in the evening found to my amazement, and at first complete bafflement, that everything had changed a little and looked very different to Pes5.
Being confuddled, I ended up playing a 2v2 game which was good fun, and let me know that you can play more than 1v1 without having to have people on the same Pc
Anyway a couple of hours later, and all in all it was an absolute blast, had a lot of fun. The new online system seems a big improvement, and hopefully they iron out whatever it is that is causing logging on to sometimes prove impossible.
I love the addition of being able to type at any time in the game instead of being limited to preset phrases only when the ball goes out of play. Plenty of other features that look excellent like online tournies that can be started for set time frames and can incorporate plenty of teams. I really am loving this game more and more

I got on! I got on! The servers finally are working! I hope it's not just a one off thing
I've played 2 games both 2 v 1's with me being on the 2's both times. I drew one 1-1 and won one 5-3

Ok another update -
I am currently calling out a few builders to repair my walls after banging my head against them for the last few hours. All I can say really is how dare Konami release a game whos netcode is somehow even worse than its predecessor.
5 games on the trot, all crashed at half-time. Including one where me and my mate were leading 5-1 at the break. Another two that we were 4-0 up in, and one that we led 3-0. Eventually we just packed it in for the night and went back to playing some 1v1. All in all, we just lost a good 2 hours of our life that we will never get back, and I am absolutely gutted that Konami have completely and utterly taken the biscuit.
Beneath the frustration, loading times, and connection losts we were enjoying it, so I hope that within the week they have sorted the problem, but the message that appears on logging in that says something along the lines of "We apologise but due to unexpected numbers of people logging in we are experiencing difficulties" suggests that Konami attempted to do as little as possible to provide an online service. To be fair to them, that is hardly surprising as they have generally done as little as possible for as long as I can remember.
So basically, online mode is at the moment a complete waste of time, and means that anyone who is thinking of buying this for the online aspect on the Pc or Ps2 should almost certainly wait until they sort out what is currently an absolute mess. Hopefully sometime before they release Pro Evo 7

There's a big point now. I might ask for Pro Evolution as a christmas present and I want to know how good it is before. your right.........you know ive sussed it out it doesnt feel like your playing in England is fully foreign but..........when you play with licenced teams etc it feels absolutly right not Japanese for eg if you play in Seria A team it feels like your playing there so maybe if they get English tema licence it will feel like that to and theres loads of edit mode etc..............oh btw another reason why PES6 is muich better is coz i was watching Inter V the russian team lol and it looked just like PES6 from far like the players movement etc!!!

Just wondering if anyone has downloaded any new Turfs for Pes6. So far I haven't been able to find any as Pesfan has had to strip back on what it offers for download these days.
