There is one that would perfectly fit into my team right now. Need to get researching on my next picks though!

I think I may have gone overboard with the bowling, but better too many than too little

5 quicks and an unknown spinner...yeah i'd say that's quite a bit overboard :D

Javed Miandad, in my opinion, and indeed in many others', is Pakistan's greatest batsman. He is their highest run scorer and holds the second highest batting average. He scored six double centuries which is the most by a Pakistani and 6th overall. He made his highest score of 280 not out against India. His his two hundreds in successive Tests in the West Indies in 1987-88 and the big double hundreds against India and England in particular, are held in high regard.

Problems on the bouncy pitches of Australia or the swinging ones of England were overcome with time and, if people questioned his record against the West Indies, they never did after that 1987-88 series. He is one of only 4 Pakistani cricketers to be inducted into the hall of fame. In 124 tests (189 innings), Miandad scored 8832 runs at an average of 52.57 with 23 centuries and 43 half centuries.

I think I have made the decision not to play an all rounder. Australia were dominant for so many years without that quintessential all rounder and with the bowling attack I will have, I don't think I need another bowling option. Instead I will choose to strengthen my batting line up. Not completely sure though. Still, my team is looking very strong imo.

He does live in Holland...

Yea I know. I was just wondering because he is usually on around this time but I guess I am expecting too much because the draft was going so fast in the beginning. Sorry.

Interesting pick in Akhtar. Definitely a dangerous bowler when he got it right.

And Hanif Mohammed was expected, was wondering when he would go.

Zaheer Abbas and Abdul Qadir go unpicked.

My Windies pick coming up.

George Headley

George Headley was the first great black batsman to emerge from the West Indies. He was dubbed 'The Black Bradman' during his career by those who saw him, while devoted supporters referred to Bradman as 'The White Headley'! Sir Len Hutton, who saw him at his best, claimed he didn't see anyone who played the ball later, while a famous Aussie legspinner claimed he was the strongest onside player he had ever bowled too. This legspinner shall remain unamed for now as he hasn't been picked in the draft.

He was the first to score centuries in each innings at Lord. In all, he scored 2190 Test runs in 22 tests at an average of 60.83, with 10 centuries and just 5 half centuries, with a highest of 270* in England at Kingston. He was the heart of the West Indies side in between the wars, when their batting was impulsive and prone to collapse.
By the start of the second world war, his FC record was 9532 runs at 72.21. He continued on for a season after the war, but was well past his best, and extended his record to 9,921 runs, with 33 centuries and an average of 69.86, with 33 centuries and 44 fifties.

Stewie Dempster moves up to open, and the black Bradman slips into number 4.
