Rugby Union

Well, that haka lacked passion.....
Anyway, it'll be interesting to see how Larkham fares against his opposite number in Carter- I can't help but think that'll be a major element in the eventual outcome of this contest.

ABs are just a class above...have been for awhile now.

Wouldnt like to be an Australian living in NZ sylvester :p

Well I'm not going outdoors for the week so I should be fine :) Not like they are going to know I'm a Wallaby fan.

ABs were just too good in defence and attack. We just couldn't break through with our brillant backline. Can't believe how easily we were exposed by their quick passing game.

Aus looked to be in good shape early on, but fell apart quickly, or to be more precise, fell behind and were left wanting as NZ picked up the pace in all areas. They looked very sharp after they settled in, and the Wallabies just didn't have the answer to the depth, class, strength and speed of the ABs' game. Lovely Larkham knock-on, eh?- rigging the system :p
Anyway, the Australian streak is no more!

True, good ball control and composure (at times) seized both teams from scoring but then Australia just lost it... BAD! New Zealand really do take advantages of breaks which might I also add happened frequently!

That's what the Crusaders did so well, just didn't think our defence was that shoody. But even with our crap scrum we still could have scored more tries with the ball we had. Just our backline was as crap as the English a few weeks back. How that happened when you look at our backline who knows.

Anyone see the Collins taking a piss on the field incident? I missed the haka but it's front page of our newspaper.

Im very happy with that performance coz the AB's lineout finally worked well. You aussies are not that far away from having a excellent team i feel, the scoreline flattered us. I still don't know what the hell is wrong with your scrum though, it was terrible.

Well that wasn't our best scrum. Put Rodney Blake in and you have it. He makes that much of a difference to our scrum as he showed with the Reds. I knew our scrum was crap once we lost Blake.

when is the next game and who is playing...i presume the Springboks are in the next game?

What is it exactly that happened to Schalk Burger?...he will be a huge loss for them.

Yep we played the Boks this week at Suncorp. I think Burger has some neck injury that could be career threatening.

I hate rugby and don't watch it, but I saw the incident on some tv program.

The exact reason why I hate rugby, its a dirty game. When our players arn't in bars waving around handbags they are taking a piss on television. That collins is nothing but a thug.

I enjoyed that australian advertisement with the haka with handbags. That was great.

Jakes da man!

"But his reputation was tarnished further on Sunday night when TV3 ran a news story on the incident and revealed footage of Collins blatantly urinating on the sidelines at training earlier in the week.

TV3 said it had decided not to run the footage of the training incident during the week but felt compelled to show it in relation to the test match incident.
"

Does this guy never think to piss before playing? I can't believe how stupid he is. Must be all those big buff men he thumps into and gropes.

That was half decent, although it did backfire terribly, what with the end result and all....
However, I must admit that the advertisement promoting the first Cook Cup match, between Australia and England, was far worse- it was anticipated as the WC final "rematch" because of it being held at the same venue, and had Wilkinson lining up his ever-so famous succesful right-foot drop goal, only for Tuqiri to rise up in mid-air and somehow charge it down!
Anyway, in GENERAL, union players are of a more educated breed than that of the league crowd because of its "aristocratic roots", but that Collins must be an absolute weirdo!

Actually it is quite common for rugby players to take a leak before a game on the field (in club matches), its just that it got caught on camera. BTW way i'm not defending him, i can't believe he didn't do it in the changing rooms beforehand.
