So the console users were indeed guinea pigs...

Nah, there's not one negative post on here about me or BA, the posts have all been deleted and the users banned.

It's why I have an empty ignore list and I refer to Planet Cricket as my "safe place".[/QUOTE]
A statement I can relate too. The simple fact is DBC17 hasn’t been protected enough by admin or staff members. May well be a controversial or even a cheeky statement to make but it’s the truth when they plunge there time and effort into defending other more sinister means, you know it’s like watching a politician on TV who is getting all wrong, doesn’t matter how much you scream and shout at the TV. Unfortunately it is now corrupted, because they cannot translate simple posts, by finding the motive plus emotional or true intentions behind those which are in plain sight.

Planet Cricket has become a sad joke, I’m out of sympathy. Please don’t mind me Ross, you probably don’t’ understand much of what I’ve said but sometimes you need to get it all out.

A minor adjustment. Snowy has tried which means something, not seen eye to eye with him but he has set an example. So praise where praise is due.

Never said it did, i just felt it suggested an extremely poor and unprofessional attitude from the developers...

You said they were antagonising their customers. So if it didn't antagonise you, who did it antagonise and when did they make you their spokesperson?

Also, fearsome tweak off.

Another snarky comment from the developers antagonizing their customers...

Seriously, why not use your time constructively and post a patch update each week?
I have to agree with you on this although it's going against the grain sort of, kind of, maybe not but perhaps a fair reflection of feeling of what I have said prior?
Hang on.. isn't the term "snowflake" now?

Simple fact of the matter is that criticism is fine, but it's more well received on here if it remains polite and constructive in tone and nature.
Words from my mouth... Thief!

I merely took your words and made them more eloquent ;)

While that is acknowledged and understood it works both ways which doesn't always happen from the other side of the fence, especially when the person in question makes petty personal remarks while making up claims I've made.

Oh I've never claimed it's perfect on the other side of the fence either.. but then I try to control myself first and then look to others to behave similarly.

Guess this is eloquent in action? Let's not be antagonistic and get everything back on track (my leaf has turned).

If you want PR spin that makes you feel nice, warm and fuzzy, you got the wrong guy. I accept where we make mistakes, accept *constructive* criticism, but never going to be a punching bag for ****wits that have no intention of ever moving the game forward in a positive manner.

Anyway, another case of continually dishing it but not taking it. It's a forum, lighten the fearsome tweak up.

I'm telling on you for using bad words!

But then there are some here who need to grow up. You're still ignoring me, must be the only one on the list...?

Rules for some but not others.[DOUBLEPOST=1487553301][/DOUBLEPOST]

Nothing I've said was ever not controlled either. It's not my fault the guy had a cry after an off the cuff smart alleck comment

I can't be bothered to judge any of the personal/emotive talk going on, but I do feel that the point that the game hasn't reached it's full PC potential has some credence. For me there are two glaring issues that are likely as a result of the console versions being priority;

1) No proper anti-aliasing. This was also a problem with DBC14 and I'd hoped it would be rectified in 17 but we still don't have MSAA as a graphics option. The game has a lot of jaggies at 1080p and it hurts the overall look. Only solution I know of is to downsample, but this is very performance heavy.

2) Limited moddability. We can only use the "logos" and only on the specific aspects that the in-game tools let us apply them (no stumps/ball/ropes etc) as well as having a limit on the maximum number of logos we can have... While this is a great improvement on console where there was previously no modding at all... It's very limiting for the PC version - I'd be happy to download gigabytes of extra textures and various mods... I have about 30GB of mods for Football Manager 2017!

^^ This guy gets how to make constructive criticism.
