South Africa tour of India 2019/20

I guess everyone thinks the era they grew up watching cricket is the best, but I genuinely think the 90's was the greatest era for competitive balance between bat and ball in cricket with greats on both sides all over the world.

Having said that, every time I see Virat Kohli bat I thank my fortune that I was able to see cricket in this time as well. What an absolute pleasure this guy is. Spectacular stuff.

Double ton for captain Kohli... as a batsman, he is just something else

Kohli should look for a triple now :D

Will Kohli score a triple ton here ? What an incredible six of an extra cover drive!! :clap:clap

50 runs in the last 20 deliveries ... crazy[DOUBLEPOST=1570786979][/DOUBLEPOST]ton for Jaddu please ... he has been a different player this year

Manjerakar the Idiot must be throwing up after eating so much crow

I completely disagree. I don't believe I have seen the best Cricket so far. For me I think 1992-2000 was the best era of Cricketing history so far. But I believe the coming years it would very competitive.

For ones rooting for England and calling them the best batting line-up at Present should look at these figures

Most 600+ scores in Test since 2016

India- 9
Rest of the teams- 7

But I think no one would actually go on to say that seeing the recent Ashes series for sure.

God damn .. Kohli sprinting like a hare while batting on 230+

Finally went out of breath ... this guy is a machine

Getting in an extra bowler on this wicket seems to be a good decision .. Umesh can have his moments of madness where he can produce wickets out of nowhere on such wickets. Hopefully the focused Umesh turns up and not the indisciplined one

Man Jadeja has come a long way ! Today he wasn't even aware that he scored a 50. When you play for your team and to represent your Country the best in you automatically comes out. The same is happening with Jadeja. From trying to find his place in the team back in 2015 to becoming a reliable Test all-rounder it's been a wonderful journey for him. :cheers

I believe he has the ability to go past Shakib, but he has to maintain this consistency to reach there. :yes[DOUBLEPOST=1570787978][/DOUBLEPOST]Kohli was asking Jadeja to look at the way Muthuswammy's ball is spinning. :D:lol

Poor jaddu .. missing out on a well deserved ton

Poor jaddu .. missing out on a well deserved ton

Sometimes runs are >>> milestones

He might miss out on tons but he would score when the team needs it.[DOUBLEPOST=1570789652][/DOUBLEPOST]Umesh Yadav strikes !!!! A full ball doing the trick.[DOUBLEPOST=1570789697][/DOUBLEPOST]This is just class bowling to get a very good player like Markram.

Jadeja's batting has improved immensely in the last two years. Should be the number seven in white ball cricket and possibly red ball cricket too if Pant improves his consistency just a bit more.

Umesh's selection allows India the flexibility of bowling Shami with the older ball rather than the new one which is when he is most effective. Umesh is also very good with the new ball, something that often goes under the radar due to his ability to execute reverse swing too.
