This is why we Yuseless does not deserve a place in the side. His batting is no better than Afridi. I`d rather have a proper batsman who can strike it at a couple of points lower than Yuseless but can do it more often. Manish Pandey/Abhishek Nayyar would`ve been a better choice or if they wanted someone who could bowl a bit, Irfan should`ve got a look in. Yuseless will leave us in these sort of situations far too often. He did it in the Champions Trophy when all that he had to do was score a run a ball 30/35 and support Dravid but he could`nt. We already have Jadeja who is also a bits and pieces player and we cannot afford another one in Yuseless.
Pick specialists, God Dammit !!!

Jadeja is a better bet to me than Yuseless. He keeps improving upon his skill to do the big shots, and he is far more reliable than Yuseless. Irfan can also do the big hitting, and he is also far more reliable than Yuseless and we have his bowling which is better than Yuseless's. You dont often get 5-6 lives in an international match.:laugh

Can`t belive that the selectors were so blind to the fact that he was dropped 6 times in that Duleep Trophy game. When we have UV back in the side, we`ll have enough impact players in the side and Yuseless can safely be dropped.

This should be the core group which we should look at for the World Cup, not a lot of games before that remember. The T20 season will begin with the IPL and go on till May (end of the W-T20). So from May 2010 to Nov/Dec 2010 is all that we have to finalize our squad for the WC. The batting mostly picks itself and we have to start fiddling around with the bowling resources from now on to look at finding whether we have anyone better than Nehra out there.

With Raina gone and only Praveen Kumar (not reliable) to come, I dont see India getting to 300. Most likely, we might get to 275 (the score that the curator had predicted before the start)

Future - Gibbs and Kallis scores centuries and we loose in 42 overs.
