Barca, Valencia and Madrid all playing today in a La Liga triple header!

Barca have a home tie against Getafe, the team who knocked them out of the Copa Del Ray in dramatic fashion.

We have a score to settle against Depor having lost to them 2-0 in the reverse fixture.

Valencia 2-3 Villarreal
Real Madrid 3-1 Deportivo
Barcelona 1-0 Getafe

Valencia's defeat means they are now out of the title race since Real and Barca picked up maximum points. Sevilla play tonight.

It's a shame Getafe couldn't even make a draw with these catalans . Anyways good win by us, Raul played very well! 2 more games to go and I might be going to the Cibeles fountain to celebrate with the team as well :).

Bravo!!

I reckon the title will be decided by next matchday.

Did anyone see Ronaldihno's red card? That was the most pathetic red ever! He "punched" him I think, but he looked like a girl.

Two goals in the opening fourteen minutes from one of Europe's and World's best strikers, David Villa were enough in a game dominated by Spain.

Aragones went in with five midfielders. Fabregas had a few good shots on goal but could have done better with his finishing tbh.

Nevertheless, four wins on the bounce puts Spain back into the qualification spots after that horrible start.

With the internationals done for the time being the focus shifts back to what has been one of the best Spanish league title battles in a long long time.

Real, Bayern and Sevilla are back this weekend as Europe's most closely contested title race draws to a close. Real can seal the title with a win if both other teams lose.

But I would expect it to go the last round of games.

Man you sure love you Spanish Football don't you? Lol.
I hate your sig:(

what an evening of football. bloody argentinians hand balling it why is god always on their side :p.

Cracker of a matchday. i know it was a lot less fans involved but it is amazing how more gently Spanish police deal with their own.

Thats why this league is so freaking good. What an evening of football. Just when you thought Messi and his hand was going to win the game and the title for the Catalans, Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Raul Tamudo got the late goals which meant the 29-time champions head into the final round of games, STILL top of the table.

I knew we couldnt lose ground this weekend because Barca will be playing already relegated Nastic next weekend. And to be very honest we were extremely unlucky last night on a number of occassions. Lots of chances but credit must be given to our old man Cesar for making some top quality saves. But justice was done when Van Nistelrooy scored that late second equaliser and it was made even better when the Espanyol captain got their equaliser in the Catalan derby.

Brilliant stuff!!

Title number 30!!!!!

YES! I wanna see that 30th title coming home! yeah! Go Real Madrid, we will remain the best team in the world no doubt! By the way Real Madrid signed a new deal with Bwin(Bet and win) today:

Looks quite good..

Nice kit that. BENQ Siemens I thought was a bit too big tbh but hey who cares?

What matters is that we are now real close to our 30th title. Thats a lot of trophies!!

^Yeah i thought so as well, BenQ didn't really fit in.. I didn't like it a lot personally. Anyways 30 trophies is something Barka and other teams can only dream of ;).
