Lolmadrid. What a hammering that was.

And Madrid are a right bunch of dirty twats. Kicking Messi all through the game becaus they know they just werent good enough to handle him. What a shambles of a team.

Just a shame they stand a chance of being good again next season really. They're going to bring in a real manager and spend ridiculous amounts of money to make Calderon look good in the presidential candidacy year next year. They've not got a chance of winning the league this year though, I'd probably say Barca will win the Champions League as well, that'll be a double kick in the teeth for Madrid.

If they play like they have done so far, then I would not be surprised. But then I dont think they will. I saw them play against Getafe, when Messi was out injured, and they were lacking ideas. In Messi's absence, Eto'o was being marked. Obviously with Iniesta coming back, they will now have another option, but others like Krkic, Henry and Gudjohnsen are very unpredictable.

As far as we are concerned, I'd say forget about what Barca is doing (and that includes stop reading the catalan newspapers) and just focus on winning our matches. Under Capello we overcame a 10 point gap, and that season too Barca had started all guns blazing.

Casillas was like a god last night and deserved a clean sheet. It was by no means a hammering so its obvious Mr. Matt did not watch the match, and they only sneaked in the goals at the end.

It was a hammering. They dominated possession from start to finish, had more shots on goal and Madrid looked poor throughout. The scoreline flattered them immensely. So yeah, a hammering weather your bias can see through it or not Mr.Isupportwhoeversgood.

They were better yes but it was not a hammering. Casillas made good saves to deny them before that, and our defenders for once also did well. And even Valdes and Barca defenders did well to prevent us from scoring. We had really close chances.

It's a shame that Diarra looks to be going to Madrid. I rate him very highly, he's a great player in my opinion. I would've wanted him to stay in the Premiership. He's going to waste his talent at Madrid.

Well in my opinion, Lassana Diarra is nowhere near good enough to play for us. At the most I can see him as cover for Mohammadou Diarra who is light years ahead of him in terms of quality.

Good win, and we could and should have scored a lot more. Defensively not as good as we were against Barca, but Cannavaro once again was like a rock. Robben is finally showing his true skills at Madrid, which is brilliant. Probably needs to pass more, but overall he was just mesmerizing. So much so that we can now ignore the fact that Barca have Messi.

Need a favour from Villarreal tomorrow. Barca's decline to start?

I'm sorry but just to clear up ay delusions; Messi is twice the player that Robben is, has been or ever will be.

Probably true. But we can ignore that if Robben plays like how he is right now and that basically means if he stays injury fit.

So Barcelona win in the end. But Villarreal were unlucky and had so many chances. How Nihat missed his I dont know.

Players seem to using their elbows a lot thesedays and Pique deserved a red really.

No prizes for being top at Christmas. We are still the champions:)

Cant wait for the weekend to come. Newspapers have come up with a list of soon to be or current free agents, and out of the names mentioned, I think Kameni is the best option. Cannavaro is also there, and I think he might leave for Italy next season. We'll need to buy a defender then.
