All my comments and statement are aimed at Spanish Football as a whole, and not just the 2008-09 season, where Barca have been the best team, which I have also admitted before.

Looks like Florentino will not even have to contest to become president.

Perez To Become Real Madrid President On June 1 - Report - Goal.com

300 million is the rumoured budget for transfers and signings.

He can throw money at who ever he wants. Real Madrid are a bad team and have been for last 4-5 seasons.

Buying players for 30-40 million doesnt get you far anymore. Raising players from your own clubs youth system has made Barcelona a magnificent team. Real Madrid need to stop hoping they can sign Ronaldo or Kaka and raise younger players as Zidane mentioned before. Infact I think this Real Madrid team has put shame on the Madrid teams in last 30 - 40 years.

One bad season really. We were back to back champions before this year, so I think you are taking it too far. Where was Barcelona and all their youth in the last two seasons when the won nothing?

Sorry, but I am not going to get carried away by one poor season, because I know we have a good team, which just did not click this year, period.

Villarreal and Almeria to win tonight, I hope, so the scum dont get to play in the Champions League next season. Have to give credit to Forlan though, he has done really well, especially in the second half of the season. Hopefully Negredo can teach the fake team of Madrid a lesson or two though.

Soon Arsenal will see the benefits into plying in youth.
I disagree. We've heard this all before. "In a few years we'll be great" yada, yada. In a few years, personally, Arsenal will be the same youthful side. All the best players will have grown up and moved on, possibly to Madrid, maybe Barcelona, Madrid or maybe even somewhere else in England. I just don't think Arsenal are sustainable, they seem to have loads of quality young players and end up selling them on. Maybe this time they'll buck the trend, however, I doubt it.

We never sacked Wenger as we never had him in the first place. But our teams have never totally depended on youth, although our current side was the second youngest in the Champions League this season, after guess who?
