Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe in Bangladesh (Dec 08-Jan 09)

After the fog delay,Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first, they would like to post at least 450-500 runs on board,so that they dont have to bat again, lets see...

Sri Lanka is batting slow, but it should be allright after they take it easy on the first hour and don't lose wickets and then start getting runs.

BD bowlers bowled very well, needs to be backed up by the batsmans

Well, it's stumps now and Sri Lanka are at 172-6. Not bad, but I am expecting that Sri Lanka will come back hard into the match.

SL struggling here,at stumps they are 172/6,they would be hoping a btter show tomorrow.

Good start to to the match. Shakib has been amazing recently.

It all hangs on how we bat now. If we can get about 300, I'll be more than happy, even if we end up losing by an innings.

Bangladesh is a tough place to score big runs. I'm not surprised Shakib got a few wickets. He's a good bowler in Bangladesh conditions. This won't be easy for Sri Lanka by any means. Only thibng is Sri Lanka have Murili and he destroys minnow teams.

destroys almost anybody. not just minnows.

he just got 5w in south africa, twice. 1st test 5 and 2nd test 6. too bad Bangladesh got to bowl only ones, or else he could have gotten more wickets.

and adding NZ series, if he gets 5w in this match, he will have 4 5ws and 4 in a ROW! :D:happy

and Shakib gets his 5th wicket, thats his 4th 5ers. WTG!

SL all out for 293

Shakib bowled well,SL would be quite disappointed with their performance,it would be now interested how they bowl, specially Murli

Bangladesh are not doing bad. They are currently at 89-2 and their current runrate of 3.70 is better then Sri Lanka's innings of 3.26.
