We need Dernbach back at Surrey so this isn't bad news..
WOW. That was very very unexpected to say the least.
Thinking back to how his keeping use to be its quite an incredible turn around, can't remember the last one he dropped to be honest.
He had a tough test at Lord's, but I think how he performed with the gloves just shows how much he has come on, it's not an easy place to keep, especially when bowling from the Pavilion end.
He's what we've needed, I'm just massively disappointed he's not taken his ODI changes, that said, I think our ODI options are more than good enough. Davies and Kieswetter both fit the bill.
He's a very key part of the Test team now, and I'm chuffed for him and us, all those years trying to replace Stewart, Jones doing okay, but nothing that great, Read was a bit meh and Foster was even worse. From our biggest weakness, we've got a strong selection of keepers to choose from.
Whereas Dhoni has been ICC ODI player of the year in 2008 and 2009. He was also in the ODI team in 2006.So Dhoni is all over prior if you go by ICC.
Cos Prior is a ████ ODI player.
I don't even know who you are, but you're clearly an Indian fan and I imagine the reason Dhoni has been is because he has far more influence in a side than Prior does.
So why didn't Prior make it to the ICC test team or ODI team even once.

There you go - yet again - launching into a rant, this time an irrelevant one about ODIs and team captaincy. If you read the article, you'd know it was talking about Tests (coincidentally what this thread is about atm) and wicketkeeper batting abilities (as was indicated by the title).
You know as well as I do (frankly I think we all do) that there are a lot of things the ICC is utterly crap at, and picking 'best of' teams is one of them. If you think the stats are wrong, correct them if you can. Because they paint a clear picture, and support the article's premise.
