I disagree with you sig

You should update it-our best pacer is Pathan, and best skipper Dravid :)

Yuvraj is an outstanding fielder, a match-winner with the bat as well, we need him ahead of world cup 07 plans.
i do too. I say that The best fielder is Kaif, ahead of yuvraj....i'm sure alot of people agree with me. The best seamer is Javagal Srinath AND Kapil Dev. Its too early to pass judgements on pathan as he has only been playing about 2 years. The spinner would have to go to Kumble as he is just leathel in tests. Captain i agree with u is Ganguly, but as Zorax said Dravid as the best captain, he is catching up but again its too early for us to make judgements of Gangz captaincy.

How do you rate the chances of VRV Singh playing in Wednesday's 6th game against Sri Lanka?

1 - Very slim
2 - Pretty good
3 - Definite selection into the XII

I would say it would be 2 but I would want it to be 3 because he needs to be tested soon! Either in place of Sreesanth or RP Singh who played last game! Also Sri Lanka are also sub continent batsman who might have some uneasiness against raw pace and we should exploit that! Blooding him against the South Africans wont be good as the South Africans will just be coming after facing an even faster Shane Bond!

Blooding him against Sri Lanka would give him the required confidence ahead of the South Africa series. I have a lot of expectations on this boy! I just hope he is our answer to express pace (he can definitely keep adding yards of pace to his bowling!).

VRV singh definitely deserves a chance in team, atleast over Sreesanth.

its still very early in both cases and we cant make any definite choices yet in favor of these guys.

I agree. He just needs to spend more time in the middle. (Actually 27 balls for 3 runs is quite some time spent)

Bad news: VRV Singh is ruled out for 2 weeks due to injury! His flight has abruptly landed even before it takes off!

Not so bad news: Dravid rested for the 6th game! He is fit to play but is being rested by the team to continue their rotation policy!

Only Dravid is rested! Sreesanth and VRV Singh are not playing. Sreesanth is dropped and VRV Singh is injured! So it leaves it to 12 players with the Super Sub being named tomorrow at the beginning of the match.

Which means RP Singh is going to have another game (as a Super Sub or as a regular player depending on India's tactics tomorrow)! Not a great move. Rajkot's track is too be full and bucket full of runs.. The curator says that with some good batting, both teams can post 300+ totals! So it says there will be no swing for the bowlers! I dont know if having RP Singh as also with Pathan would be a good move! Sreesanth would have been a better option. Why arent the selectors naming a replacement for VRV now that he is out for 2 weeks? Bring in Munaf Patel or Zaheer Khan for VRV Singh!

Also, Sachin, Irfan and Harbhajan are back into the squad. That should lend big experience to the Indian line up

I think India will win the next two games.

Hmm, Isn't this Sehwag's 2nd match as captain because I think the first was against Bangladesh ?

Anyway, I will be looking forward to it.

I'm also looking forward to the last two games aswell, lets keep our fingesr crossed that India will win the last two games.

I agree Sai that the rajkot track is a belta for batting lets hope India makes first use of it and score heavy runs, I want Sehwag, Tendulkar and Dhoni to come to the party in the next game ( I wish).

It is Sehwag's second match as captain. The first was against bangladesh.
I think its gonna be 6-1 in favour of India.
