If Doherty can perform well in this 3 ODI and then Ashes then it should be obvious to pick him. But too early to say

Just brilliant by Doherty, if he can start performing in Shield cricket he could soon jump past Hauritz as test spinner.

Sri Lanka looking to get the game going while they're still in it. Malinga is just slogging, but Mathews has produced a few more classy shots.

This is the first time I've ever heard taking a 5 wicket haul being called a 'Michelle' before. The explanation behind it I found rather funny though. Doherty has ripped through the Sri Lankans. A great performance on debut, he's always been a great limited overs bowler. Hopefully he can improve in FC as well and replace Hauritz in all forms of the game eventually

Deadset if we lose this from here we got some problems. Can't even blame it on personnel as most of the bowlers that lost it in India aren't there.

Too many short balls. Sri Lanka have produced something of interest, but they'd have to be really, really lucky to get a chance at a win.
