Hello everyone! This is Gary bringing to you a thrilling experience of a young cricketer who started his cricketing career in an unexpected way. This is inspired by career diaries of Tom Baker -Three Lions On The Shirt? :hpraise and Suren Ram -Born To Fight For Success -An Untold Story! :hpraise. The two mentioned career diaries have been absolute treat to read for me and am sure they have been to you all too . This story is solely for the entertainment of PlanetCricket members . It is just pure imagination and its relation with any real person is purely co-incidental .

This is a career diary of a young cricketer Gaurav Aggarwal. In this diary,all his cricketing experiences,difficulties he faced,and how he overcame those challenges will be described. I hope all the readers enjoy this career diary and will be glad to hear their say. I wish it would be a somewhat success and hope it entertains one and all. It is named as 'Success From Nowhere -An Unimagined Story!'

Chapter 1

What could be the reason?:confused:

Nehru Stadium,Pune.​

It was a Sunday morning. The clock tickled over to 7 in the morning and there rang the stupid cell phone :. I was like -WTF! I mean a Sunday and......and 7 AM? Have you lost it? I was about to speak **** until I heard my best friend on the other side. 'Hi Gaurav,I need your help mate',said Raj. 'Help?',I uttered in a hazy voice. 'Yeah,we need to go to Nehru Stadium now',he replied. 'Now? But what's the reason dude?',I was still sleepy. 'I have a selection today for Cricket and have no one to accompany me except you',he said. 'Ah,well,wait.....' (he interrupted) 'Come on mate,please come with me'. 'Hmm,ok but what do I have to do with Cricket?',I was kinda avoiding him. (Ofcourse Sundays are for fun and not for any bloody selections)

'You have to come with me,come on',he insisted. After a long communication,when I couldn't get over him I said,'Ok,I'll be coming but make sure there is some arrangement for my entertainment over there. ' He just followed it with a laugh and then I hurriedly went over to his place after the breakfast. We reached the stadium in about 25 minutes and the selection process still hadn't started even though we were about 20 minutes late. :laugh Well,lazy officials. I was bored to the core as I asked Raj to practice his bowling skill agianst me. I took the bat and went over to the other side. After a few hic-cups,I managed to actually put bat to bowl. Later on, I played some shots off his bowling and told him to concentrate perfectly.

Suddenly,an announcement was made for everyone to gather at one corner of the ground as the selection was about to begin. I wished Raj good luck as he went for selection. There was something sort of weird about him as he was crossing over. Above that, the wicked smile of his made me think over and over again.............'What could be the reason for all this?' :confused:
