Watched Thuppakki, Umm, what to say? It's a treat for Vijay fans.
AR Murugadoss and Santhosh Sivan has done an excellent job. There are few flaws in the film, but nevermind.
Thuppaki is a good film but would have been great if they have added more spice to the action elements. The screenplay was racy and slow at different times. It was because of zig zag scenes of main plot and romance.

There are few unique scenes and sequences thought by the director which should be appreciated. Vidyut plays cool. I liked him a lot. He's a martial artist. There should have been more scope for him in the climax

The scene in which Vijay spoils the plan of Vidyut by shooting 12 persons was interesting. The saving of five girls is good too. Climax twist(minor) was a good thought.

There are minor thoughts that impressed me too.
The scenes in which Vijay plays Rubik's cube and guesses.

2nd time 'Thuppakki' - Check! Liked it better than first time? - Double Check! Going again third time? Very close to a "Check"!

I don't care about any of the other Diwali releases. Thuppakki has me all glued up to it, including reading every news from people about how good it is, and how well its doing at the box office. Its breaking records out there. Hearing reports from Bollywood trade analysts that Thuppakki has done excellent overseas inspite of the competition from the king of overseas, Shahrukh Khan's Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Ajay Devgn's "Son of Sardaar". And "Skyfall" has just released 4 days back in the US market.

I wanted him to combine with GVM just for a change in Tamil cinema. It would be a different experience for both. But it won't happen really.

Super excited by Anirudh's upcoming "Ethir Neechal". Even though Kolaveri dominated "3", the album was more than just the "Kolaveri Di". If not for Kolaveri's popularity, the album would have been talked about a lot more by people following Tamil cinema.. Roja didn't have a bumper hit song like Kolaveri, but the entire album was so good that today its considered a mega classic.
