Fazal Mahmood at 8. Hits the 40% exactly with 20 of 50 innings at 8. Pretty much the prototype of Pakistani fast bowlers, he could do amazing things with the ball on the artificial matting that was used in the country at the time. He could bowl on proper pitches too - some brilliant performances in England showed that on a pitch where it offered even a little assistance for bowlers, he could take the game away from the opposition.

Mohammad Rizwan at 7 in that case as well. A great batting average thus far, and despite this he's often seen as a backup wicketkeeper. For now, he'll be in my team wearing the gloves. He's a very, very good keeper. Any batting he adds to the overall picture is just extra. (EDIT: 61.11% recurring at 7.)

That's half of my Pakistani picks there (and in a word like "counterflow" that's not an easy feat to get 4 of them meeting the criteria.)

@Yash. next.

Prithvi Shaw

Eligibility: Played 8 innings out of 9 at position 1 = 88.89%

Bio from cricinfo:

Prithvi Shaw shot to prominence as a 14-year old when he scored 546 off 330 balls, an innings that contained 85 fours and five sixes, for his school Rizvi Springfield in the Harris Shield, an age-group cricket tournament in Mumbai in 2013. Shaw's innings was then the highest score in school cricket.

In November 2016, Shaw was part of the India Under-19 squad that won the youth Asia Cup in Sri Lanka. Two months later, he made his Ranji Trophy debut for Mumbai in the semi-final against Tamil Nadu and scored a second-innings century that led his team to victory.

In September 2017, at 17, Shaw became the youngest player to score a century on Duleep Trophy debut, a record previously held by Sachin Tendulkar. He was then named captain of the Under-19 World Cup squad, a tournament India went on to win. During the tournament, he was sold to Delhi Daredevils for INR 1.2 crore (USD 187,500 approx) in the 2018 IPL auction.

Given an opportunity after their IPL campaign flagged midway, Shaw impressed head coach Ricky Ponting with his fearless batting against the new ball; ending with 245 runs in nine innings at a strike rate of 153.12. However, it was his performances for India A, both in England and at home against West Indies A and South Africa A, that gave wings to his India aspirations.

He pipped Mayank Agarwal in the race to be India's back-up opener when he earned a call-up for the fourth and fifth Tests in England in 2018, and finally became India's 293rd Test cricketer in Rajkot against West Indies in November 2018 after India's selectors ran out of patience with Shikhar Dhawan. Shaw marked the occasion by becoming the youngest Indian Test centurion on debut, and just the second-youngest Test centurion for India after Sachin Tendulkar.

I'll take Chamara Silva. Played more at 50-over level than tests but will still slot in nicely at six.

Eligibility: Played 4 innings out of 6 at position 5 = 66.67%

Bio from cricinfo:

Kevin O'Brien wrote his name into Irish cricketing lore with a magical innings against England on a balmy March evening in Bangalore. Entering the fray with his team 106-4 - and soon 111-5 - in pursuit of England's 327, he hit six huge sixes in a 50-ball century - the fastest in World Cup history - to set up a historic three-wicket win. It was the highest successful run chase in World Cup history and imbued new urgency into Ireland's claims for greater opportunities against Test-playing sides. Stocky and with his hair dyed pink, in aid of a cancer charity, O'Brien instantly became a poster boy in Ireland and beyond.

In the years since, O'Brien developed into a regular presence on the domestic T20 circuit, although his primary contract is with Cricket Ireland. By the end of 2014 he had played for four English counties, and in T20 competitions in Bangladesh, the West Indies and New Zealand. While Ireland have been disappointed by their lack of opportunities - they played fewer ODIs against Full Members from 2011 to 2015 than 2007 to 2011 - O'Brien has remained a formidable cricketer for them, and hit 84* from 47 balls to secure a tie against Pakistan in 2013. He has also captained Leinster Lightning in the new Irish interpro series, and has been given the responsibility of captaincy when Ireland's county professionals have not been available. O'Brien hit consecutive half-centuries as skipper in the ODI series win against Scotland in September 2014.

As well as a belligerent batsman, O'Brien is also a canny medium-paced bowler, and he has developed his variations during his time in foreign T20 leagues. He is the younger brother of Niall O'Brien, although the two have very different characters, with Kevin known as being far more laid back.

As far as performances go, he was a prodigious striker of the ball even in the Test arena. In one of his centuries against England, he hit six sixes which was a high number at Test level in that era..
