Well i was doing the same but instead of writing about the game i was doing the scores at 5 over intervals and putting down the wickets. Now i'm still putting down the wickets but not putting down the scores at intervals and writing anout the game.

Could say the same to you, Jake. Lighten up, we should be helping eachother out with presentation and such instead of trying to gain rights and copyright...

Can't say I'm surprised England didn't win, what a batting performance by Australia that was duly followed up by some good all round bowling. Very nice to see Australia back to their best, even if it is against England.

Good presentation, mate. Could do with a paragraph rounding up the match at the end though.

yeah mate, i normally do it after the scorecards but i just cant be bothered opening the game up right now.

I didn't mean it like that.

Perhaps 'using' would have been a better word than 'copying'.

Strauss getting run out then KP going early was vital for Australia. Although I couldn't really see England chasing down that total.

Awesome work mate, great writing. kiu!

thanks for the comments. Now i know to post it when a lot of people are on and looking at the stories.

I can't be bothered doing all the innings so I'll post the scorecards of the rest of the matches and a summary of the games.

Summary:
Australia won the toss and elected to bat first. Marsh and Katich got the team off to a decent start before Marsh got out. Ponting and Katich then put on a good partnership before Anderson broke it getting the wicket of Katich. North and Ponting got Australia to a reasonable total with both batsman hitting half centuries.

England went out to bat with the series already lost. Johnson was expensive early and Strauss went onto the attack while Cook played defensively before Hilfenhaus got the wicket of Cook. Bollinger then got the big wicket of Pietersen. Strauss kept going but 2 wickets in quick succession from Hopes put England in some trouble. Samit Patel and Andrew Flintoff however kept on going to guide England to a 4 wicket win, Samit Patel earning man of the match.

Match Summary:

Australia won the toss but chose to bowl which was a strange decision. Strauss and Cook started well but Strauss only made 29 out to Hilfenhaus. Pietersen and Bell got out early for the second time in a row. Alastair Cook made 50 but Samit Patel kept going before getting out for a century, his second big innings in a row. Prior and Flintoff helped England to a good total of 268.

Australia went out to bat and Marsh and Katich made starts before getting out. Ponting started off slow but quickened up even though the running didn't as he ran Mike Hussey out. Ponting made 88 before being dismissed and with Hopes and Johnson at the crease with still 60 odd runs to win, it didn't look good for the Aussies. Johnson made 25 but got out and it didn't look good but back to back sixes from Hopes put them right back in it, Hilfenhaus scoring a boundary in the last over before a wide from Sidebottom wrapped it up, winning by 2 wickets. Samit Patel was given man of the match again.

Match Summary:

Australia won the toss and elected to bat. Hussey and Marsh got the Aussies off to a good start with an opening stand of 71. Ponting went early though but North and Ferguson tried to pull the innings back together, Feguson making 39. North batted through the innings to make an unbeaten 69, Australia ending up with a below par score. Anderson was pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets.

England went out to bat, Cook going early but Pietersen and Strauss hammered the Australian bowlers. Strauss went for 42 but Bell batted well with Pietersen to put England in a top position. Very economical bowling from North however left Australia with a chance but an unbeaten 35 from Flintoff took them to victory with around 3 over's to spare. Hopes and North were Australia's best bowlers.
