can someone respond to the poll, i want to know what I should do.

Note: The second option in the poll (Yes, skip pass the Test Series...) could also mean that I can go on and do a proper career with Australia.

Edit: OK i'll start from the ODI series. There will probably be an update today.

The toss is about to happen and the 2 captains are out in the middle. Strauss will toss the coin. Strauss tosses it up and Ponting calls tails. It lands on tails and Ponting elects to bat first stating that theres not much in it for the bowlers and there should be some cloud cover later. Well lets take you to the game with commentators Michael Holding and Nasser Hussain.

Current Batsman: Clarke 2*, Marsh 5

1.2 Broad to Marsh 0 runs Good stop from the short cover fielder cuts off any chance of a run.
1.3 Broad to Marsh 0 runs Up in the blockhole and well defended.
1.4 Broad to Marsh Wicket Mistimed by Marsh and Pietersen takes an easy catch at midoff.

Marsh c. Pietersen b. Broad 5

1.5 Broad to Ponting X Very wide from Broad and the umpire calls a wide.
1.5 Broad to Ponting 1 run Full ball from Broad played through cover by Ponting and they get an east single.

Current Batsman: Clarke 12, North 2*

Over 5:

4.1 Flintoff to North 1 run Played through mid off for a single.
4.2 Flintoff to Clarke 1 run Australia are just going along slowly at 6 an over.

We'll take a break here and we'll be back to watch the rest of the match.

Over 6:

5.1 Broad to Hussey 4 runs Delicate leg glance from Hussey goes to the square leg boundary, it was a bad delivery.
5.2 Broad to Hussey 4 runs Hussey with a beautiful cover drive beats 2 fielders as it flies to the boundary. Aggressive start from Hussey.
5.3 Broad to Hussey 0 runs Thats better from Broad, right up in the blockhole. No runs.
5.4 Broad to Hussey 2 runs Broad's just bowling too straight. He's only got a mid-on and bat pad fielder on the leg side. He's really got to bowl to his field as Hussey makes 2 runs.
5.5 Broad to Hussey 0 runs He's still bowling too straight Broad, Hussey defends though.
5.6 Broad to Hussey 0 runs That's a better line, Hussey tries to late cut the ball but it is stopped at second slip.

End Of Over 6: Australia are 38/3
Current Batsman: North 4*, Hussey 11

Over 7:

There's going to be a change in the bowling. Anderson will be brought on in place of Flintoff who so far has bowled 3 over's, 1/18.

6.2 Anderson to Hussey 1 run Played back past the bowler towards mid on for a single.
6.3 Anderson to North 1 run North gives himself some room to cut and plays it along the ground towards a backward point position.
6.4 Anderson to Hussey 0 runs A good start for Anderson, bowling to keep the score down.
6.5 Anderson to Hussey 4 runs Played off the back foot through point for a boundary.
6.6 Anderson to Hussey 4 runs Played off the back foot through point for 4.

End Of Over 7: Australia are 49/3
Current Batsman: North 6*, Hussey 20

Over 8:

Swann has been handed the ball. Broad so far has had figures of 3 over's, 2/20.

7.1 Swann to North 0 runs No spin in this pitch, ball just moving in like an arm ball.
7.2 Swann to North 1 run Too full and driven through the offside where the fielder picks it up on the boundary. 50 up for Australia.
7.3 Swann to Hussey 1 run Pushed through the offside for a single.
7.4 Swann to North 1 run Still no spin for Swann in his first 4 deliveries. North is still yet to score a run through the onside.
7.5 Swann to Hussey 1 run Late cut from Hussey goes down to third man for a single.
7.6 Swann to North Wicket Now thats suicide, North hits it to short cover and they call for a suicidal run and Hussey is well short of his ground.

9.4 Swann to Haddin 1 run Australia need to pick up the run rate now.
9.5 Swann to North 1 run A single through the offside to North.
9.6 Swann to Haddin 0 runs A dot ball to finish the over.

End Of Over 10: Australia are 69/4
Current Batsman: North 13*, Haddin 11

After 10 over's Australia are going along slowly and should start playing more aggressively.

Over 11:

Sidebottom will be about to bowl. Anderson is taken off with figures of 2 over's, 0/17

10.1 Sidebottom to North 1 run Cut away for a single.
10.2 Sidebottom to Haddin ! Haddin plays and misses. Sidebottom goes up for caught behind but the umpire says not out.

OK I'll do it up to 15 over's for today. It takes too long to do ball by ball proper commentary. Should I do it like that still but it will take 4 days instead of 1, just do it like this.

0.1 Sidebottom to Marsh 1 run
0.2 Sidebottom to Clarke 0 runs
0.3 Sidebottom to Clarke 1 run
0.4 Sidebottom to Marsh 4 runs
0.5 Sidebottom to Marsh ! (Catch Behind Appeal)
0.6 Sidebottom to Marsh 1 run

End Of Over 1: Australia are 7/0
Current Batsman: Marsh 6*, Clarke 1

1.1 Anderson to Marsh ! (LBW appeal)
1.2 Anderson to Marsh 1 run
1.3 Anderson to Clarke Wicket (Caught)

Clarke c. Bell b. Anderson 1

1.4 Anderson to Ponting 6 runs
1.5 Anderson to Ponting 1 run
1.6 Anderson to Marsh ! (Dropped Catch)

End Of Over 2: Australia are 15/1
Current Batsman: Marsh 7, Ponting 7*

and so on.

And I can also just not doing commentary at all.
Any other ideas are welcome.

I'm not really liking the ball by ball commentary to be honest mate. I would rather maybe, session-by-session commentary. But if your going for something different, then maybe over-by-over commentary - but just comment on the ,runs, wickets, missed chances.

Australia in real trouble here! Steady the batting up!

what do you mean by comment on the runs, wickets, missed chances. Do you mean like passing 50, wickets and missed chances.

We're back to the game with commentators, David Lloyd and Sir Ian Botham, England chasing a small total.

David_Lloyd.jpg
Ok we're back here for England's Innings. How do you think they will go chasing this small total, Ian?

ian_botham.jpg
Well small totals make for the best games but I still think England will get home just. If Strauss and Cook put on a good opening partnership, they should win.

David_Lloyd.jpg
Ok, Lets get down to the game. Johnson will open the bowling for Australia.

ian_botham.jpg
Well a good start for Australia, Strauss caught behind for 6 and only 4 balls have been bowled in the innings.

David_Lloyd.jpg
Bracken is getting the ball to swing in his first over, that last ball swinging away from Cook beat him.

ian_botham.jpg
Yes, thats a good sign for Hilfenhaus as well. He does swing the ball more than Bracken. Anyway 10 runs scored off the opening 2 over's.

David_Lloyd.jpg
Thats some good fielding from North and mid off. That saved 4 runs. Bracken is just swinging the ball a bit out there, slow start for England.

ian_botham.jpg
Yes, Australia need to save any runs they can if they want to win. England have only scored 20 runs in their opening 4 over's.

David_Lloyd.jpg
Well Johnson will continue, he's already bowled 2 over's. Hes started well the Left arm fast bowler.

ian_botham.jpg
Well thats the end of the power play. England are 38/1 after 6 over's.

David_Lloyd.jpg
A good over from England at the end there, scoring 10 off it. Well Ponting's going to let Johnson bowl his 4 over's out, I still think they should have kept him for the death bowling

ian_botham.jpg
Well after 7 over's, Hilfenhaus is given the ball. He will want to swing it around now.

David_Lloyd.jpg
Hilfenhaus not troubling the batsman in his first over. He got the full balls to swing a bit but he bowled 3 short balls which wasn't too good.

ian_botham.jpg
Yes, he should be pitching the ball up to give it a chance to swing. Anyway, Australia are going with some spin now. Hauritz into the attack.

David_Lloyd.jpg
Good ball there from Hauritz, beating Pietersen. Not getting any assistance from the pitch though.

ian_botham.jpg
Well he concedes 5 from his first over, still can't get it to spin. Hilfenhaus will continue.

David_Lloyd.jpg
Good over from Hilfenhaus, only 4 off it.

ian_botham.jpg
It was a better over. He was pitching the ball up a bit more getting it to swing.

David_Lloyd.jpg
Hauritz is unlucky there. Completely mistimed from Cook and it goes into the vacant deep mid wicket area for 4.

ian_botham.jpg
It's a good start for Ritzy, but he needs to get wickets.

David_Lloyd.jpg
Well a more expensive over from Hauritz. Hopes is going to bowl now.

ian_botham.jpg
The runs are starting to dry up. Hopes and Hauritz bowling 3 tight over's in succession only conceding 13 runs.

David_Lloyd.jpg
The required run rate is slowly rising again. It's now just over 6 an over. Hilfenhaus is given back the ball. Hauritz has still got an over though.

ian_botham.jpg
A good innings from Cook and he raises his bat to the crowd as he reaches fifty.

David_Lloyd.jpg
Well made half century from Alastair Cook, 5 four's so far and he's gone now. Soft dismissal, just lobbing back to Hopes where he takes a simple catch.

ian_botham.jpg
Very big wicket that one, Australia needed that. Cook goes for exactly 50.

David_Lloyd.jpg
Kevin Pietersen also makes fifty. They're getting close to victory, England.

ian_botham.jpg
Well thats gone high. Hauritz is underneath it and he takes an easy catch. Hilfenhaus gets the breakthrough and Pietersen is gone for 54. Samit Patel and Ian Bell are now at the crease.

David_Lloyd.jpg
Well Hauritz is handed back the ball with 3 over's to go. Hopes and Bracken still have 1 over left each.

ian_botham.jpg
A great catch from Haddin going to his right and Hauritz gets his first wicket.

David_Lloyd.jpg
Bell goes for 7 but Australia have a very small chance of winning still.

ian_botham.jpg
Bracken will bowl the 19th over. England need 5 to win off the last 2 over's. Australia need a miracle to win.

David_Lloyd.jpg
Well Prior is out, caught by Ponting. Bracken might have given Australia are very small chance of victory.

ian_botham.jpg
A good over, only 2 off it. Hopes has to concede less than 2 runs to win or concede 2 runs to draw. So much pressure is on the medium pacer.

David_Lloyd.jpg
A lot of pressure. Hopes is running in for his first ball. Flintoff goes to play but misses and Hopes goes up for LBW. Not Out says the umpire. That was probably just going down leg.

ian_botham.jpg
It was probably just going down leg. Lets see... hawkeye predicts that it is just missing leg stump. A good start for Hopes though.

David_Lloyd.jpg
Well its all over. Samit Patel hits a boundary after Flintoff hit a single. Very close match.

ian_botham.jpg
Very close indeed. England win by 5 wickets though with 3 balls to spare. Thats all we have here. We'll show a scorecard and then leave.

England's Batting Card:

ENG1stInnings.jpg

Match Summary:

ENGvAUST20.jpg

ian_botham.jpg
Sidebottom was given man of the match in the end with 4 wickets. It could have also gone to Pietersen or Cook but probably should have gone to Sidebottom in the end.

David_Lloyd.jpg
Well thats all we have time for. See you next time probably for the next International T20 match between the 2 nations.

hmmm, still no comments anyway onto the next T20 game.

2nd International T20:

Squads:
Australia:
1. James Hopes
2. Shaun Marsh
3. Ricky Ponting (C)
4. Callum Ferguson
5. Marcus North
6. Michael Hussey
7. Brad Haddin (WK)
8. Mitchell Johnson
9. Nathan Hauritz
10. Ben Hilfenhaus
11. Nathan Bracken

Changes:
Callum Ferguson in for Michael Clarke

England:
1. Andrew Strauss (C)
2. Alastair Cook
3. Kevin Pietersen
4. Ian Bell
5. Samit Patel
6. Matt Prior (WK)
7. Andrew Flintoff
8. Graeme Swann
9. Stuart Broad
10. Ryan Sidebottom
11. James Anderson

Changes:
None

Our commentators for the day are Nasser Hussain and Ian Botham.

nasser_hussain.jpg
Well only the one change to the Australian side who lost the first match, Ferguson given a chance in place of the vice captain Clarke.

ian_botham.jpg
Well Clarke did not perform in the first Twenty20 but they probably need him still. Hopes has been put in the order to open the batting but we'll have to wait to see if that actually happens.

nasser_hussain.jpg
My guess is that he would. He does have some experience in that position especially in domestic cricket as he normally opens the batting in OD for Queensland and he also opened the batting twice I think in the UAE against Pakistan.

ian_botham.jpg
Anyway, there is no change to the England side that won the first T20.

nasser_hussain.jpg
Yes, no changes to the English side so England will hope to win again in the second and final T20. Anyway, lets go to Michael Atherton whos down at the pitch.

michael_atherton.jpg
Thanks Nasser, the pitch is average, with some help for bowlers and batsman. There are a few cracks in the pitch so it will spin from the start I would say and start spinning a lot late in the second innings. The bounce is average so it should give some help to the bowlers but they will have to bowl well in the opening over's. Ok and with me now are the captain's Ricky Ponting and Andrew Strauss. Ok Andrew Strauss will toss the coin.

ricky_ponting.jpg
Heads

michael_atherton.jpg
And it lands on heads. Ricky, what are you going to do first today?

ricky_ponting.jpg
We'll have a bat. It was a hard choice with some help for the bowlers but hopefully later in the game, the cracks will open up some more helping Hauritz turn it more.

michael_atherton.jpg
So there you have it. Ricky Ponting has won the toss and elected to bat first. Andrew, what would you have done if you won the toss.

Andrew_Strauss.jpg
I would have chosen to bat first but there is some help for the bowlers so I'm not too dissapointed. Hopefully Jimmy and Flintoff will bowl well with the new ball.

michael_atherton.jpg
Ok then, well that's all we have here from the pitch, back up to you Nasser.

nasser_hussain.jpg
So Ricky Ponting has decided to bat first on a pitch that should have some help for the bowlers especially in the second innings.

ian_botham.jpg
It should be good for bowling in the second innings but Australia will want a big innings to put themselves in a strong position.

nasser_hussain.jpg
Well thats a great start for Flintoff and Hopes is out for a duck.

ian_botham.jpg
It was a bad shot and missed the ball by a mile and the ball crashed into the stumps.

nasser_hussain.jpg
The Australian captain, Ricky Ponting will now come to the crease.

ian_botham.jpg
Australia are 15/1 after 2 over's. Broad was handed the new ball again. I really think that is a bad decision, Anderson should be bowling with the new ball.

nasser_hussain.jpg
Yes, I do not understand why they don't give the new ball to Jimmy Anderson.

ian_botham.jpg
Australia are off to a slow start, just hitting singles. They are 34/1 after 5 over's.

nasser_hussain.jpg
Well Anderson is going to get the ball after 6 over's. He should be able to get some swing still.

ian_botham.jpg
Well England need a breakthrough and hopefully Anderson can get it for them.

nasser_hussain.jpg
Anderson did get some swing in his first over. No spin for Swann in his first however.

ian_botham.jpg
Expensive over from Swann there. His second over goes for 16 and Marsh is starting to get closer to fifty. Ponting is also pretty close to a half century.

nasser_hussain.jpg
Well it looks like England are going to put man of the match in the first game Ryan Sidebottom into the attack.

ian_botham.jpg
Well hopefully that can give England a wicket and his first ball goes for 6, brilliant cut shot from Ricky Ponting.

nasser_hussain.jpg
And that is fifty for Ricky Ponting. He brings it up with a boundary and he raises his bat to the crowd.

Well that should have been caught. Dropped at short leg. Marsh is off the hook but Sidebottom has been really troubling him into his third over.

nasser_hussain.jpg
Well Marsh brings up his half century. Been a good knock from the opening batsman.

ian_botham.jpg
Yes, a good knock from him. Anyway, there is 5 over's left to go and Australia are going along nicely at 8 an over.

nasser_hussain.jpg
Well not what Australia needed. Swann gets a wicket second ball back into the attack and Marsh is out for exactly fifty. Ferguson is going to come to the crease now.

ian_botham.jpg
Ponting moves to eighty. If he scores 20 runs off the last 2 over's, he will be the second player ever to score a T20 International century.

nasser_hussain.jpg
Very unlikely though that. Ferguson and Ponting are still at the crease and Flintoff and Broad still have an over left.

ian_botham.jpg
Well Australia reach the 150 mark, Ponting left not out on 90. Ferguson finishes with 7*.

nasser_hussain.jpg
And a very fast 90 from Ponting too. England will have a hard chase in their second innings. Anyway lets have a look at the scorecard.

nasser_hussain.jpg
As you can see, it was a superb innings from Ricky Ponting. The bowlers were'nt too good today but Flintoff was the pick of the bowlers getting a wicket and bowling pretty economically.

ian_botham.jpg
Thats right, no bowlers were very good but Flintoff bowled well. Thats all we have for now, see you for the next innings.

Is that the batting order? It`s kinda screwed up seeing Hussey at 6 behind North and Ferguson especially, Hopes opening, and Bracken at 11(Hilfie should be at 11).

hilfie scored 18* in the last match, you expect me to put him down to 11. I'll make some changes in game.

edit: and you think that it's going to make much difference when its a T20 and Australia shouldn't lose 8 wickets (unless they play crap)
