Yep so like i said if we are 50 for 6 there is no need to panic! I also think if we bat will this one is heading for a draw but Essex made 400+ in a day and I expect our batsmen to do that too, so a win is not totally out of the equation, but saying that if we bat poorly, neither is a loss!
Tea Break Day 2
Frizzall Championship Division 2
Derbyshire v Essex at Derbyshire
Essex 419
Derbyshire 1/79
Derbyshire trail by 340 runs
B.Molloy 32 (20)
J.Martyn 33 (25)
D.Gough 1/32
A good start here from Molloy and Martyn, Essex had a very attacking field and the two batsman took advantage and played all there shots and got more than good value from them. It a positive start but the home side are still a long way away from the Essex first innings total. Molloy had a stroke of luck just after play resumed from the rain delay when he was clean bowled by Darren Gough off a no ball. Lets see if Molloy can make Essex pay the the way Jefferson did to Derbyshire.
Lets rejoin the action.
