END OF ENGLAND INNINGS UPDATE

Harsha Bhogle : At the end of their 50 overs, England scored 282/5 but they must be dissapointed on not reaching 300 inspite of good contributions form Strauss,Flintoff and Vaughan . Your thoughts on that , Ravi !
Ravi : 282 is a big target and will take some getting .I thought Flintoff was outstanding in his innings and I don`t think it was a brave move by Dravid to bowl himself inspite of having Z.Khan`s quota of overs left . In the end it proved to be a tactical error and Zaheer bowled just 6 ovrs . He was the pick of the bowlers in my opinion . Patan was disappointing . An year ago , he was the emerging superstar of Indian cricket but now , all that sems to be a thing of the past . The swing which we associate with pathan seems missing . I hope he gets it back . Vaughan was outstanding in the anchorman role .The only criticim I feel one could make is that he batted just a bit too slowly in the slog overs
India have a target to chase and Sehwag and Sachin will have to fire together which has not hppened for quit some time now . If they fire , we have a match on our hands . I would prefer kaif batting at No.3 and Dhoi at No.7 if a wicket falls early .

What and eventful first over ! 6,4,2,4,2,Nb,OUT ! England must be thanking Vaughan for holding on to that catch . I Sehwag stayed there for another 15 overs , the game could have been over in a jiffy but now India have to bat sensibly and keep wickets in hand for a late surge . I think that it is a great move by Rahul to send Kaif at No.3 . It gives him time to settle down and play his own game and him being a good runner , if he stays in the middle overs , singles and twos can be picked at will . Sachin Tendulkar will be the key as always . I would like him to play an attacking game and the others must rally around him .

Harsha : Welcome back to Star sports and I think some of you might be pinching yourselves to check whether what you just saw was real . Sachin Tendulkar has steered India to an outstanding victory . It was as if the little man was out there to show the world that he was the real boss when it came to batting . I hope it will silence his critics once for all. Your comments Geoff !
Geoffery : Superb ! FAbulous . I though my mum was bowling. The way he was batting , he could have hit it with a stump ! The English bowling was made to look ordinary . Dravid --- what did he have for lunch . He hit 3 sixes , didn`t he ! What was this Indian team doing all these days ! Superb batting .
Ravi : It was great to see the Indians attack the bowling . Great batting from scchin and I believe this is the way to go for the Indian team and what better place to o it than Lords. Dravid was fantastic as well and Yuvraj`s innings showed that there was nothing wrong with his form . We thought we had a good total and India chased it down easily because of the great man and he was superbly supported by Dravid and Yuvraj . Our bowlers , I thought were decent . They just had an off day . Hope to get things right at The Oval tomorrow against Pakistan .
