Wicket No.5:Bates tries to play a cheeky sweep shot off Palmer but is smartly caught by Murdoch at Silly Point. Great reflexes that!

Wicket No.6:Emmett tries to hit his way out of trouble but mishits it to Copper at Mid-off who has no trouble snapping that one up.

Wicket No.7:Scotton flicks straight into the waiting hands of Massie off Boyle.

Wicket No.8:Shaw is beaten by turn and flight and Cooper takes a simple catch off his own bowling.

Wicket No.9:Pilling plays back to a short delivery from Boyle. The ball hits the bat?s shoulder and Murdoch gets another catch at Silly Point. Not silly anymore.

Wicket No.10:That?s the end of the innings.Copper takes a simple skier at Mid-Off to dismiss Midwinter off Giffen.Midwinter top scores for Australia with 34.

So, Australia need 92 to win this test. Not an easy task. The pitch is bad news for the batsmen. We are in an era where weather played an important role in the result of the match. There are no covers, no protection for pitch

Boyle takes 5 for 40 to lead the bowlers.

This pitch is looking really, " A Batsman's Grave! ". But with less pressure(because of little target), Aussies might win this with ease. ;) Keep up the fantastic works. :clap

Wicket No.1: Bannermann is the first one to go for a duck.He flicks a Midwinter delivery into emmett's hands.Emmett dive forward to hold on to a stunner.

Wicket No.2:Massie's cut lands safetly into Barlow's hands off Peate

Wicket No.3:Another duck!Mcdonnell is given caught out at sillypoint off Peate.

Wicket No.4:Murdoch strikes five fours in his 28 before he falls leg before to Peate as he shapes to play a late cut, misses and is adjudged leg before.

Wicket No.5:Umpiring error. The ball seemed to be going down the legside and also the batsman was well out of his crease, still Giffen is given leg before off Peate.

Wicket No.6:Blackham falls prey to the old firm of Messers Barlow and Peate

Australia are 6 down for 45.First three wickets fell at score on 4 and the next three with the score at 45.Horan is holding one end up but he needs support from the the other side as well. Can he be the man for Australia?Australia still need 47 to win.But on a minefield of a wicket it is tough call.

Wicket No.7:Blackham tries to drive the ball on the off side but the inside edge is carried to Barlow at silly point off Peate.

Wicket No.8:Palmer is snapped off at Mid-Off by Ulyett off Emmett

Australia are 8 down for 70.Still 21 more to get.Horan holding one end up.But he does need support from the other end as well.Thats lunch on Day2.

Australian, led by Horan, ably assisted by Boyle inch closer to victory. They are just a shot away. Horan tries to end it all. He goes for a big hit, misses and is duly stumped. That’s a big blow to Australia. Two runs to get ,1 wicket standing.Everybody is on edge of their seats. It is right down to the wire now.

Its all over the next ball as Copper is adjudged legbefore to Peate and England win by 2 runs.

People rush on to ground and the players run for their safety. Here's an artists impression of the end of the play.
