England settle for unconvincing draw
These are worrying times for the England cricket team. A poor final day performance on a poor Perth pitch has given skipper Andrew Strauss few signposts as to the composition of his best team ahead of the first Ashes Test starting in 18 days time at the Gabba.
Graeme Swann was England's most successful bowler in the match
The visitors posted a total of 258 on the board in the first innings thanks to a half-century from keeper Matt Prior and then Tim Bresnan's five-wicket haul helped England to take a 55-run lead as they bowled out the hosts for 203. The second keeper in the team and the rival for Prior's place in the starting XI for the first test didn't make life any easier for Prior with an half-century which helped England post a target of 271 for the hosts to chase down. With just 37 overs left, Western Australia were able to score 146 at 3.95 runs per over with the loss of 3 wickets, thanks to an unbeaten half-century by Shaun Marsh, which meant the first warm-up game ended in a draw leaving the English camp with some questions to solve with their batting and bowling before the second warm-up game against South Australia.

Kevin Pietersen and England train harder for South Australia
Hello and a warm welcome to all our viewers. After an unconvincing performance in first warm-up game against Western Australia at Perth, the England cricket team has arrived in Adelaide for their next warm-up game against South Australia which starts from tomorrow.
The batting was their weakness in the first game on a poor pitch and the Three Lions are already working hard on it, in the nets. The news coming in from the England camp is that most of the players who played in the first warm-up game are set to be rested. Kevin Pietersen, who has been in disastrous form of late, is set to play against South Australia along James Hildreth - who will make his England debut.
On the other hand, Shaun Tait and Callum Ferguson are set to return for South Australia after missing the pervious first class game due to an injury against New South Wales which resulted in a bad and embarrassing defeat. Robert Cassell and Callum Borgas are set to give way for the duo.
England(expected): Cook, Prior, Hildreth, Pietersen, Collingwood(c), Davies(WK), Bresnan, Finn, Broad, Anderson, Panesar.

Finn spearheads England win
Emerging player of the year, Steven Finn led the way with the ball as England wrapped up a comprehensive seven-wicket victory over South Australia in the second tour game at Adelaide Oval in Adelaide.
Steven Finn ended picking 7-wickets in the match
Having won the toss, England put on a score of 323 in the first innings thanks to a brilliant 74 of 114 balls by the out-of-form Kevin Pietersen who got good support from Matt Prior and allrounder Tim Bresnan. The hosts were asked to follow on after the English seam bowlers - especially Steven Finn and James Anderson - restricted them to a mere 105 in first innings. A splendid century in the second innings by the former Victorian Aiden Bliazzard and a half-century by Aaron O'Brien helped the Redbecks post a target of 69 to chase for the visitors. England's batting did struggle as they lost three wickets but in the end they crossed the finish line thanks to skipper Paul Collingwood. Steven Finn ended up picking 7 wickets in the match and also recieved the Man of the Match award.

Great bowling from Finn although it was against a team that don't really have any consistent international players. He'll have a much tougher jobs against the likes of Ponting, Clarke and Hussey in the Ashes.
A good knock from KP in the first innings, especially as he's been struggling recently. However i don't think Prior opens the batting in First-Class cricket, you'd be better off bringing in somebody like Carberry if you wanted to try somebody new at the top of the order.

Hello and a warm welcome to all our viewers. After a comprehensive seven-wicket victory over South Australia in Adelaide, the England cricket team have arrived in Hobart for their final warm-up game against Australia A which starts in less than 24-hours time.
The Three Lions showed a complete allround performance in the second game after a disappointing first game. Its was nice to see Kevin Pietersen and Matt Prior back among the runs and the youngster Steven Finn picking seven wickets in the match. Some news coming from the English camp is that the Three Lions are going to play with their best lineup against Australia A tomorrow in Hobart. It goings to be very interesting to see if England go with two spinners or just a single spinner in Graeme Swann.
On the other hand, the Australian selectors have picked up the 13-man Australia A squad for the game and this is the perfect opportunity for the likes of Phil Hughes, Cameron White and Shaun Tait to make a comeback in the Australian test team.
